We enjoyed sitting on the porches/patio. Cushions on all seats would enhance the experience. Some repairs and paint would also help. Our room and bathroom were beautiful and very clean.

A beautiful, quaint hotel in a lovely area. The food was fantastic! Our evening meal was delicious and served in a relaxed but beautiful dining room. All the staff were extremely helpful but Alicia and Amy made our stay extra special with their conversation and friendliness. Our room was very clean with all amenities but next time we would book a bigger room. We would definitely recommend The Charles Hotel. 5 mins walk into town, free parking and amazing staff!!!

The lovely old building just needs some TLC. The shower stall was modern and hreat pressure, however the floor step wall was crumbling. Staff were amazing and helpful Gardens lovely We sat upstairs on the covered balcony to watch the rain and that was nice!!

Amazing place to stay. The staff are so friendly, good is delicious, and the setting is so peaceful. Perfect place to walk, curl up with a book on the porch or front patio, and enjoy the beauty of this historic building and lovely grounds.
