While the view is outstanding the charge for parking is excessive. $45 a night. The rooms are very nice and but it would be nice to have two chairs instead of one.

The young women who checked us in were lovely and very accomodating. The room to which we upgraded had a very good view of the River and of the Horseshoe Falls. That particular floor appeared to have been refurbished. There was two rather dangerous projections from one of the beds where the mattress was supported. One of us cut our leg on it, but we only reported it on the day of our departure. We found three bedbugs in the room and that, of course, was alarming. We did notify the staff right away and they sent some people to look at the room and the photos we had taken of the bugs. Since the above was on the day of departure, we stated only facts to the management. This woman was very understanding and accommodating. It is difficult to recommend the hotel under those circumstances, but the people there were very nice to us.

Room was not really clean. There was a dirty tissue left on the window ledge, which was very noticeable as it was a large window. Fridge in room had something sprayed on the front that wasn't wiped off. Bathroom fixtures and mirror were also still dirty, the toilet paper holder looked like it hadn't been wiped down in awhile, which it should have been since it was chrome. Staff was nice but it wasn't a great stay unfortunately.

It's too bad that Niagara Falls is so hilly, I know a lot of folks who are handicapped that would love to see it but between the cost of parking and walking the distances that are required, they will never be able to experience Niagara Falls.

The property is a bit dated; however, it is clean. The mattress is dated and have uneven parts. We booked a "fallsview" room. Although the description does say that it was a horseshoe view, we did not expect the rest of the falls was blocked by Marriott. Other than that, the view was beautiful. The check-in staff was great and friendly.
