Lovely clean lodge
This property is very central to lots of beautiful beaches and villages in Cornwall. The lodge has everything we needed. Only downside is the garden is not secure for the dogs and it’s near a busy road . The hot water boiler keeps going out and water is not very warm to wash up .

Fantastic Stay
My wife, 2 kids and 2 small dogs and I stayed here to attend a wedding at Knightor Winery. The lodge is very situated, with a very easy drive to Crantock, Newquay and St Austell. The lodge is very well looked after, very spacious, clean and tidy. The owner has thought of everything; with the well-equipped kitchen, the box of buckets and spades on the decking and enough fans for us to stay cool in the heat. There was a welcome pack of bread, milk, jams, coffee, tea and sugar which was a nice touch and unexpected. The owner communicated very quickly in the build up to our stay and answered all questions we had. I would have no hesitation in recommending the lodge to anyone who is visiting the area. Thanks Ian and family for a fantastic stay. Adam & Emma

Overall positive experience
Lodge was clean, tidy and well equipped. Hosts helpful and hospitable, but not in your face dispite being on site. Accessible up to a point, not best suited for individuals with no lower body movement as space for transfers very limited. Whilst it is dog friendly, having even a small enclosed area would be a useful addition as the garden is huge and open. Very closed to A30 so good for exploring Cornwall, unfortunately very audible too. Good value and we had a lovely stay thank you!☺️

Perfect location for local beaches
Really enjoyed our stay at Beacon Lodge. It is extremely well appointed, with everything you could need for your stay. Especially nice to be greeted with a welcome pack of bread, milk etc, including dog biscuits for our puppy. Very nice touch, thank you. Will definitely stay here again whenever we're in the area

Beacon Lodge 2 week stay
A nice cosy cabin with adequate heating. Nice touches with the things our lovely hosts left for us. Hot water system was the only negative - couldn't be confident of getting a continuous warm shower without it suddenly going to cold and having to be reset. Otherwise, an enjoyable stay!

Beacon Lodge
This is a lovely lodge and has everything you’ll need - even a loaf of fresh bread for your morning toast! Ian and Liz are very relaxed and don’t interfere at all, but they’re there if you need them, and they’re very helpful. Plenty of outdoor space where nippers could run round safely, and of course it’s dog friendly. Situated very conveniently for getting around Cornwall, the lodge is close to the A30 (so there is some road noise but you soon adapt to it), access north and south is super-convenient. We chose the lodge for this as we wanted to get down to Falmouth and up to Tintagel - simples! We thoroughly enjoyed our break. A tip, once you’ve punched-in the key code and retrieved the key, punch it in again or you won’t be able to close the box! Enjoy Cornwall!

Family Holiday
Property was as described. It was well equipped and the hosts were very amenable and helpful. It is ideally situated for visiting most areas in Cornwall with good road links. There is a local Londis which is well priced and the local pub food is very good and dog friendly. I would recommend a visit. The only minor issue is the property is close the A30 and there is some traffic noise but this did not detract from our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend using this property for your stay.

Lovely lodge
