Great view, everything is new, spacious rooms. Beds are slightly hard, but everything else was fabulous! Short distance to the beach and restaurants/activities. Pool and hot tub were great too.

We had such a great time during our stay at the Whaler! You can certainly tell how new everything is after the remodel. I am somewhat of a clean freak (I own a cleaning company) and I was very happy with the facility and even used their pool/sauna which is unheard of for me due to cleanliness issues. I was celebrating my sobriety birthday and I told them it was an important day for me, they were kind enough to upgrade my room it was so sweet. I love that they let me bring my fur child and we will DEFINITELY be coming back next year!

Very beautiful rooms. Super comfortable beds with 6 pillows. Oceanfront balcony with amazing view and binoculars provided to view far out into the ocean. A welcome basket full of yummy snacks and drinks was in the room to enjoy. The coffee bar was loaded with coffee and creamers to choose from for the Keriug and also popcorn. The bath towels are thick and amazing and the soap provided was even top notch! This will be my spot whenever I visit Newport.

We came while the property was mid-renovation, but we still had a great time and the renovations are going wonderfully. Very comfortable, lots of extra considerations (binoculars in the room for whale-watching, for example), with a great view attached to a nice stretch of beach. Quiet and well-kept, with easy parking. Feels subtly exclusive. Very nice sauna and pool.

This hotel was great, only disclaimer is there is co striction so it did get a tad noisy at around 8-9 but otherwise it’s beautiful and great views
