Located downtown, just off the popular Thames St., enjoy walkability to local shops, liquor store, cafes, parks and even the harbor in just minutes. Conveniently ground-level with a private entrance, walk right into the condo's open living space with living/sleeping/and dining all in one. The condo offers a petite full kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook a full meal...but why would you when you can walk 5 minutes for a fresh lobster roll? Fall asleep to cable TV or your own streaming services in the cozy queen-size bed and wake up to a fresh cup of Keurig or fresh drip coffee. Additional perks include the combination washer/dryer, mini-split heat/AC, and small outdoor porch area with seating. Bring your well-behaved pets!

Please note there is NO OFF-STREET PARKING in this location, however, it's located in the 5th Ward neighborhood of town which is known for easier street parking. Thames St and Spring St (one block up) are free and open for parking. The side-streets require residential passes from May through October so be mindful of signs to avoid parking in the wrong area!!

Great location
Super clean with everything you’d need as a home base in Newport. Walkable to everything but out of the way enough that you aren’t overrun by tourists. Pet friendly with dog bowls and biscuits - would stay again and bring my pup next time!

Newport Getaway
Great location, easy street parking, and clean and updated property. We stayed for a long weekend, which was absolutely fantastic. Owner left local snacks and drinks which were also amazing! Highly recommend this property.

“2 Hammond St Studio”
Was here for a 10 day business trip & it was well located & centrally located for all my needs. Cute neighborhood with boutiques & a few very appealing restaurants. When next in NWPT, I ll put in an early resy in for “2 Hammond”, since this is my “spot of choice”! Clean, well organized & appointed. I’d vote the host as the highest level attainable on VRBO !

Came to Newport for a long weekend with the girlfriend and this spot was perfect for us. Easy check in/ check out. Very clean and AMAZING location. Easy walk to everything on Thames street and short Uber/ drive to mansions/ cliff walk. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Excellent location
The location for walking about in downtown Newport and to the Mansions is exceptional. The property is in an older building, so the drywall, etc shows its age, however, everything is clean and tidy with fresh paint and furnishings. The little kitchen is stocked and ready to use. The host also left a few local goodies, coffee, popcorn and chocolate, for our enjoyment. Overall an excellent place for a couple to getaway and enjoy Newport.

Convenient location to many local shopping and dining spots.
Excellent experience renting this property. The space was just enough for the two of us, located within 2 miles from heart of Newport, a few blocks from a small park area to walk our dog, and a few local eateries close by.
