This is a newly refurbished apartment, (below main house)consisting of 2 bedroom, 1 x queen 2 x single beds, private bathroom and comfort.B/R fans.Heater. Electric blankets.The accommodation boasts panoramic views of the pacific ocean. It is close to Charlestown shopping center , movies, beach and has public transport just out side the door. Has a back yard , off street parking for two cars, what more could you ask for. Stay for 2 days or stay a week. Newcastle is the gate way to Port Stephens and whale watching, white sandy beaches. The city boasts great shopping and coffee shops.You have a uninterrupted 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean and beaches to the north including Stockton beach, Dudiey ,Redhead, Blacksmiths, Merewether and Newcastle beaches are from five to fifteen minutes away.Ocean baths and swimming are available.To the west is situated Lake Macquarie. Yatch clubs The Lake meets the ocean at Swansea. John Hunter Hospital is also a mere fifteen minutes away. Newcastle Harbour and Port boast a Fish Market, cafe & Restrauants. Stay two days, stay two weeks, you will not be dissatisfied.
Cars restricted to the carparks. The Apartment is situated approximately 50 meters from the solid 2 meter high brick fence. The front yard has a vast space with lawns & gardens. The backyard boasts a large lawn, perfect for ball games, looking overa hinterland of forest merging into the Pacific Ocean where coal ships anchor. Occasionally, a pod of whales swim by playfully. This vastness creates a a peaceful feeling of seclusion. Excellent viewing of the full moon o Lake Macquarie and so many Beaches are within a fifteen minute grasp. My name is Steve.

Unit & host were delightful

Perfect place to getaway
This place everything we needed. The house location is perfect for overlooking the ocean to see the sun rise from the backyard. The moonlight over the ocean is breath taking. The bed were comfortable and the heated beds made it heavenly in winter. We also met Steve the host and he is a great guy to deal with. Will definitely come back spring and summer.

Great Place to Stay in Newcastle
A really nice place with great views of the ocean. The binoculars provided allowed us to see whales from the front window. Lots of room, great facilities, comfy beds and a friendly host who went over and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Highly recommended.

Stunning and peaceful location
Our time at Steve’s unit had everything we wanted - the unit and yard were large enough to give the four of us our own space as well as ample area to spend time together. It was quiet and peaceful, with a stunning ocean view from indoors and from the back patio and yard. Steve greeted us on arrival and was very hospitable. The unit was supplied with all of those kitchen essentials that you don’t want to have to buy just for a short stay - paper towelling, foil etc etc. as well as games and cards and books for entertainment. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. The whole unit was very clean. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Steve!

Second time staying. Teenage kids love the sensational outlook and homely feel. Host is very genuine, kind and thoughtful. Close to all amenities and beautifully secluded at the same time. Can not rate this highly enough.

The property was very clean with all linen supplied. The kitchen was well stocked and the supplied milk and a packet of Tim Tams was a nice surprise. The unit has a great layout with 2 good sized bedrooms and lounge area.

So impressed!! Character, cleanliness, resourced and simply beautiful. Return to nature - sun and moon rises, whales, birds and sensational local beaches. Very accomodating for teens, close to large retail centre and facilities including movies, bowling, laser tag, food, etc.. Wonderful host, will be my go to place in Newy!

Quiet with a bonus view
We were very happy with the accommodation, very quiet, private, practical, convenient and comfortable. Extra bonus is the view, even seeing whales out to sea. Your photos on the site are very accurate. Thank you very much for the stay , will keep in mind for future Newcastle trips.

Whitebridge Hideaway
We enjoyed a splendid stay at Steves apartment in Whitebridge. Spacious extremely clean and well appointed. We were enjoying the various eateries that Newcastle offers so well we did not have a need for the full kitchen facilities that were available . The place was quiet with grand view across the cliffs to the Tasman Sea. Certainly worth the easy 15 minutes to get into the CBD by car. There are closer large shopping centres if you have the need. WE would certainly look at staying at this address again and hopefully trying the many walking tracks nearby.

What a fabulous view to wake up to!
Steve is a fantastic host and great communicator. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property which was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The spacious apartment was under the main house and had its own private access. Check in was extremely easy and a car space was provided. We arrived when it was dark so were very pleasantly surprised to wake to the incredible view which is even better than the photos in listing. We appreciated the lovely touches like the chocolates left on our beds and complimentary packet of biscuits. We would highly recommended this apartment and would definitely stay again.
