The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very hospitable. I loved my room and was very comfortable. I was slightly inconvenienced by their incident fee as I was not expecting any additional fees after paying in full online. The area is riddled with transients. I do understand that there are less fortunate everywhere but a 5 minute walk up the street will reveal a serious drug addiction problem in this specific area. All in all I would choose this hotel again if I decide to stay in new jersey.

Hotel is GREAT for an overnight layover from Newark Airport. They were so friendly, the shuttle service was EXCELLENT, Yvonne the driver is a gem! The hotel was clean, beds comfortable, and very convenient area of Downtown Newark w/lots of food nearby, on top of the hotel's own restaurant. Really appreciated the service and the staff, especially arriving late from a long overseas flight.

My partner and I had a four night stay. I was very pleased with the environment and service. My only complaint would be having to get my room key reactivated a few times due to a glitch with our door. However, the facility is clean, the bar is fantastic (we loved the bartender Jason!), the room is spacious. We will definitely be booking again during our next visit!

I had to pay a security deposit that was deducted from my account. I didn't see this listed anywhere. The side lamp is flashing like a strobe light/defective . Very noisy neighbors yelling and screaming in the middle of the night. At this high price at reputable hotel these issues should not happen. Other than that, very clean and classy

Convenient hotel in Newark
Convenient hotel close to Newark Penn Station and with an airport shuttle. I was there to go to red bull arena and it was an easy 20 minute walk. If you're sensitive to noise, I would recommend ear plugs. I could hear the TV and conversations in adjacent rooms and my room was right by the elevator and I could hear the machinery running all night.

Our family stays here every year, when we go into NYC for vacation. We get the family room, with a bunk bed. This hotel is a quick walk to the train station, and a $2 train ride into NYC, via the PATH train. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are amazing. There is a great little deli right next door to the hotel, for a quick breakfast before heading out. Available parking is $30 per day.

My hotel room was cool, clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and having shuttles to the airport and Penn station was very convenient. Parking is available with in and out privileges but cost almost $28 a day which is a bit pricey. My biggest issue was I could hear the guests in the room next to mine, especially when they were in the bathroom, almost as clearly as if they were in my room. Definitely woke me up repeatedly throughout the night, made me really uncomfortable and nervous. There was an additional door in my room with a deadbolt so it's possible I was in an adjoining room. If that was the case, it would have been nice to be told beforehand. I was have chosen another room for my peace of mind and safety. Overall, I liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again, just in a better room.

During this visit, the desk staff was very rude. When ask for deposit I ask when was that require I had stayed her many time and was never required a deposit. When ask where is stated no one gave an answer.
