We had an employee enter our room unannounced at 8 AM. When we brought this up with staff that morning we were informed that "it would be looked into and they would get back to us." No one got back to us. Great location but imagine you can probably find a hotel in NYC where staff doesn't walk into your room unannounced and does not apologize.

Hotel staff would not honour the hotels.com gold status benefits. No free room upgrade and would only charge us for a late checkout . We booked this hotel in part because it advertised that they give gold status benefits, which don’t . Staff was incredibly rude and dismissive about this. Our room was tiny and the bed was the smallest queen I’ve ever seen. The hvac in the hotel is awful and the air is really dry and uncomfortable. Location is great but I would never stay here again

The front desk team seemed to all be training and had no knowledge of the hotels.com perks. Check in and check out were painful. The room was solid once I was finally given the right one.

We liked that it’s not surrounded by big box stores but when you stay here - support local, experience local. The neighborhood is full of flavor, character, grit, charm and creativity. We’ll be back. The staff was awesome, and the food and drinks were excellent.

One of my favorite hotels ever. The cafe was amazing for food and drinks, best iced espresso lattes. The staff is so attentive. Property is beautiful, amazing location. We had a corner king on the 15th floor and the views were incredible. Just loved everything about it

Everyone made our 20th anniversary extra special. Gave us the 18th floor overlooking all of NYC. Even gave us free champagne & a fruit plate. We cant wait to stay with them again.
