An older hotel, but the junior suite was very quaint and nicely arranged. Bed comfortable room quiet. Only drawback the water did not drain out of the tub/shower. The lift was small and slow, but there was a very accommodating staff giving advice.

It was perfect for a one night stay in New York. The location is close by to the Rockefeller Center in Times Square. Very convenient.

The property was great but the service has room for improvement. My daughter was made to wait far too long to check-in (we believe ageism was at play)-watching others go to the front desk after her to be given access to their rooms while she waited patiently. The blowdryer in the room did not work-when the front desk was called, they were unable to provide a working blowdryer because they said they didn't have access to the room where equipment was stored. These interactions, while they might seem small, made an impact on what otherwise would have been a fantastic hotel stay.

Had a great stay at the Shoreham. Only complaint is that I requested a wake up call which I did not receive.

This property is not worth the price. I paid over $900 for two nights. Half the lights were broken as well as one of the showers. There wasn’t a trash can, the floor was dirty and stained. The front seat staff was rude and unhelpful. They wouldn’t give us extra room keys when we had more than two people. No fridge in the room where the cabinet was build for a fridge. The cover for the radiator was broken off when we arrived in the room and sounded like a plane taking off when on. The only nice thing about this hotel was the reading which looked like where all the money was going to and not the $450 a night room that was level with a motel 6. But hey at least the water pressure was nice. Don’t waste your money! It looks nothing like the photos advertised

It was fine. Location is great, room was clean. Staff was helpful. Elevator was super noisy, but fortunately asked for a room away from it and could only hear it a little. The only perk is decent wifi, apart from that there’s nothing. Coffee? It’s for sale for $4-6 in the lobby. Seems like coffee would be an easy thing to include when paying manhattan hotel prices, but you won’t get it at the Shoreham. I don’t know where that outside patio photo in their promo materials was taken, I never found it.

Horrendous. Arrived at 5:30pm and room not ready. Never before and never again. They took $60 off. Stay away from this place. Room was tired and dirty. Staff could instruct guests that the elevator buttons are 6ft away from the small elevator, one of which was broken.
