We had a great one night stay at The Moore! It was clean, quiet, and one of the first nyc hotel rooms I could comfortably open my suitcase in. Loved that we had an included coffee, pastry, and water in the morning. The front desk was super kind and accommodating, and let my husband have a little extra time in the room to take a work call. The bed was comfy, too!

FABULOUS gem in Chelsea

HIDDEN GEM! So glad I got to stay here -- will stay again if I can. Hotel staff were 100%, across the board, friendly and helpful. The coffee bar in the lobby was a fun surprise, and a total delight. The rooms are SMALL but very well laid out with small comforts like a carafe and glass for your water that make it feel very homey. Marsanne next door was a fun spot for a quick drink at the bar or light dinner. I stayed here for 4 nights for a work trip and was able to hang all my clothes, work from the room, sleep soundly, etc. Great experience.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights over new year. I do a lot of research before booking hotels and I picked this one due to its location. It really couldn’t have been better for us and what we had planned to do. Walking distance to the edge, Empire State Building, Chelsea market, circle line cruise, harbour line New Year’s Eve cruise, madison square gardens for basketball, Times Square etc The subway is literally around the corner and from 23 street you can get almost anywhere on the A,C and E lines. There are so many wonderful eateries in the area and the it’s clean and safe. We walked around at night and felt very safe. The hotel lobby is nice and the tokens at breakfast are quite useful for coffee and a pastry in the mooring. I recommend heading down early (7.30am) as it gets very busy after 8am. Our room was a view queen and whilst it was smaller, it had everything we needed and we managed just fine. The room was light with the window facing 22nd avenue. We requested high floor and it was very quiet. We never really heard anyone and there is road noise but we slept very well. The girls on reception are soo lovely and super friendly. Nothing so too much hassle and we really appreciated this :) Huge thank you! We would recommend and stay again if in New York :)

FIRE ALARM GOES OFF INSIDE ROOM WHEN YOU SHOWER!!!

WARNING: FIRE ALARM INSIDE THE ROOM WILL GO OFF AFTER YOU SHOWER FROM THE STEAM BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE AN EXHAUST FAN IN THE BATHROOM!!! I also think the other reviews with the same title are paid for. And to make it EVEN WORSE, when I complained they argued with me telling me their bathrooms are to code and even tried to tell me they had an exhaust fan. When I made the on-site manager and maintenance guy show me, they pointed to a small vent shaft. Apparently, they don't know the difference between a vent shaft and the more important part of the equation, the exhaust fan that sucks up the steam. I escalated my complaint to the front office manager who doubled down on the fact that they were in compliance. Not once did anyone apologize for such a crazy + jarring experience and instead tried to gaslight me into thinking I am the one who is crazy for thinking I should be able to take a shower without the fire alarm deafening my ears when I get out. Even the maintenance guy (and a random guest walking by) both laughed and said it happens all the time when I opened my room door and scrambled to put some clothes on during the excruciatingly loud alarm going off in my tiny room. I also received a very condescending response from the general manager stating "Here’s a polite and professional response to decline the accusations and clarify your position while reiterating the offered resolution." The resolution was to tell me to go stay somewhere else!

Concierge was so helpful and friendly. Love the girls in the front! Lonny was pretty and the poker chips were pretty cool; we got free coffees and water. Rooms were pretty small, but it’s expected for a NYC hotel nowadays. The walls were super thin and we could hear doors closing and people talking very easily. Otherwise, it was great for our 1 night stay! We’d definitely stay here again.
