Staff friendly, free bottled water anytime near check in. Destination fee $35, but get credit of almost same for food & drink, buffet breakfast covers that credit. Check your bill to ensure your credit applied, only after checking my e-receipt later noted did not get credit applied second day, that’s on me, so had a charge that could have been avoided. First night only sheets on bed no blanket, but room temp ok, corrected next day when room refreshed. Quieter area being east of 5th, found it safe walking to tourist spots, taxis grab at intersection. Room comfortable, mine had no coffeemaker, despite listing as included but coffee avail near checkin, what would make it a higher score would be adding a small fridge in the room. Staff helpful all visit. Would consider visiting again, overall good experience despite missing some items.

Did not like The Lexington sneaking in the $35 a day destination fee after I paid in full through Expedia. Hiding a charge like that will likely guarantee I neither return nor recommend the hotel.

It is a good location, but they ripp you off with extra charges that are not part of the room price (35 usd per day) and the using it except inside the hotel is really difficult. Staff at reception is not competent at all. Breakfast for 36 usd a joke.

I booked a 2 bedroom suite that had a fridge, microwave, full kitchen. The room was beautifully decorated and very cosy chic--however, there were no utensils at all (no plates, no cutlery, no table ware, NOTHING). When I ordered food via UberEats, went to the kitchen and nothing to eat it with. I tried to call the front desk--after several attempts someone finally picked up and said we had to come downstairs to the front desk to get paper plates and a set of cutlery. So I came down from the 18th floor, only to find out that they had no plates, so I was instructed to go to the bar to ask them for plates. This is a room that I paid $1700 per night for!! On the day of departure, I wanted to get a late (2PM) checkout--as a Marriot Bonvot elite member, I could request that perk. I tried for over an hour to call the front desk and the operator from my room, this time to no avail. I finally decided to go downstairs to talk to the front desk directly. Even though I was granted the late checkout, the hassle to get a hold of the front desk was just so ridiculous. I never ever leave comments, even when I have mediocre experiences, but I absolutely had to for this one. This was a very disappointing experience and a waste of my money.
