Host did not allow us to stay!!
Although we confirmed and paid for our reservation over a week prior, the host claimed they never received notification and we were not allowed to stay. We spent over two hours working with Vrbo customer support, who confirmed that our reservation was valid and attempted to work with the host so that we could keep our reservation. Despite all efforts, the host was unwilling to figure out their technical issues and we were left without a place to stay in a city we were unfamiliar with. It affected our entire trip and we ultimately had to pay over double the price of our initial reservation for a hotel at the last minute. Overall, the host’s hasty and rude communication along with their unwillingness to figure out their own technical issues should be a major red flag for future guests. I do not recommend staying at this property.
