Spacious, well-appointed room - made for a comfortable stay. Check-in/out process was quick and easy. Very conveniently located in terms of subway access. And a short walk from the Ghostbusters fire hall :)

The shower was luke warm on a daily basis. Coffee maker was pretty bad but at least there was one. What made the property special is a lot of places to eat from cheap to expensive - and even thouhg you are on Canal you are right on the edge of a fancier part so it's less crazy. There is a beautiful terrace overlooking Mahhattan they should turn into a breakfast place or restaurant. I actually liked how lively the lobby was and how warmly you got greeted by everyone working there - that was probably the best thing about that place. they even gave out free popcorn - such a small gesture but really cute. it made you feel like you are welcome home and it was like an old school classic NEw York feeling. The furniture and interiors are a bit dated but again the shower and how small the room was were my biggest complaints. At checkout we resolved some issues so I also appreciated their understanding of the situation and resolving hte situation.

Fantastic stay
Amazing value for such a good location. The club room was fantastic too for grabbing snacks, water and coffee whenever we needed to top up. Everyone was really helpful and friendly, would highly recommend and would stay again.

Great dining and everyday shops. Facility is showing its age and the elevator broke down causing long wait lines. Staff was very good and very responsive. Rooms were clean except not carpets not vacuumed daily and kept running out of tissues. Bathrooms need more counter space and hooks for hanging.

There is a very convenient store next to the hotel open 24 hrs with food, drinks, medicine, etc. The terrace on the 21st floor is a plus for a very nice view of the city.

So so stay if you don’t spend time in room
First hotel room assigned stunk horribly like someone was cooking curry. Went back downstairs and was given another room which ended up being an accessible one so not ideal as there was too much wasted space and the shower situation was awful. Also it was an adjoining room so we could hear the neighbours through the paper thin walls and doors. No one likes to be woken up at 6am by clearly jet lagged European visitors. Restaurant charges 20% tip automatically and service is slow and they make mistakes. Then they want another tip on top of that 20%! Ok stay as it’s a great soho location but not sure I’d stay here again!
