I loved how easy it was to get to where we wanted if it wasn’t walkable the subway station was right there to jump on a train. The room was clean and spacious, and if we needed anything they were quick to resolve the request. Definitely going back on my next trip.

The location is great. It is in walkable distance from all the major destinations and right by the subway. The staff is great and fast to respond for requests. The building is clean, but not Westin clean. The lobby is welcoming and there is a small cafe in the lobby.

The staff were wonderful and treated us well. We arrived early in the morning and they gave us a room immediately without any extra charge. They were very friendly, receptive to questions or concerns and quick to act. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay with them again. Close to attractions and dining.

It’s a great location! That said there’s always little things which are slightly inconvenient but, the charm location and overall stay typically make the small things insignificant- like it took me 3 times to get my room card to work. But they graciously permitted a late check out. The first time we stayed there as loud construction on the floor we stayed on for remodeling. And all 3 times we could not use our phones to send movies and media to their TV.

I was concerned about other reviews of people getting charged $500 for smoking at Romers, but we had no issue. Lobby was decorated nicely for the holiday season. Staff members were nice and our room was clean. Nice view of the city streets from the top floor, which was a nice surprise. Elevators were quick most times. We made it to the hotel from JFK in about a hour via the E train. The train station was very close, and we were within walking distance of Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and the Gershwin theatre around the corner. I would stay here again.

Location, ,location ,location
Have stayed once before and found it to be the perfect location to everything in NYC. Like every hotel in the City they charge for parking but it is outstanding attached to the hotel , bright and efficient. I will continue to book Romer anytime possible when I am in the city. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. You felt safe and comfortable .

I was charged $40/night for a resort fee. Upon questioning, I was told that all hotels are now doing this. This was an added $240 to my bill and this is not a resort. Went to NYC again the following weekend and stayed at a Holiday inn Express- they did not charge a resort fee and didn’t know about this fee. Clearly not a city wide fee like they told me. I booked both hotels through Expedia.

Newly renovated, now a gem
Very nice stay. This hotel changed hands recently (used to be Hampton Inn Times Square North) and has been completelt renovated. Lobby areas are greatly improved with lots of seating. Rooms & bathrooms are new & modern. Plus rooms here are larger than typical for NYC. Location is great for access to theaters, restaurants, and a great NYC experience.
