This is a newer establishment, previously a Hampton inn, but now with a new breath of life given to it. The staff was friendly, and the aesthetics were great. My only problem was my bed, our bed had a huge dip right in the middle of the bed, so my wife and I kept rolling into each other as we slept. And I won’t lie, I getting older so it messes with my back. Either way I would gladly stay here again.

We loved how close it was to everything, easy to walk to different areas of NYC, also close to the subway, the theatre, and many restaurants. It was clean and modern. The staff always had a smile and a welcome every time we were in and out of the lobby. The beds were comfortable and the windows in the room opened! It was a fantastic stay. We would definitely book there again.

I had an enjoyable stay at Romer Hell’s Kitchen. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient, adding to the positive experience. Our room was spacious by New York City standards, and the location couldn’t be more convenient—right in the theatre/Broadway District and less than a 10-minute walk to Times Square and the Columbus Circle entrance of Central Park. While the hotel offers boutique decor, a very comfortable bed, and quality linens and pillows, it falls short of a true 4-star experience, lacking some amenities and features typically expected at that level. However, thanks to the welcoming staff and overall ambiance, it still stands above a standard 3-star, making a 3.5-star rating feel more appropriate. One minor issue was a non-working light fixture, which left the room slightly dim, especially since there was no overhead lighting. The resort fee includes a complimentary one-hour e-bike rental and a two-hour standard bike rental, a fantastic perk for those who want to explore the city.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Romer's. We came in on the subway from JFK, and it was about 1 block walk from the subway station. We came to eat food and see the museums, and Hell's Kitchen is ground zero for foodies! We found great places to eat within a 15 minute walking distance. Two things we didn't prepare for. We came to NYC with practically no cash, as we had just come from a recent trip to Europe, where everything is cashless. Tips are still paid in cash in NYC in many circumstances. We were unprepared. Also, some great bagel places we tried were cash only, as well. Be prepared for that! We were charged $45 per night by the hotel for an "urban fee". I looked it up when we got home, and apparently, there is some controversy over this fee on the DA's website, and we may try to fight it. They could just up the price of the room by that amount but they would be taxed on it, and they would be less competitive. Beware. Beside that fee, everything else was fantastic, and we certainly plan on returning to Romer's Hell Kitchen in the future. It's a great location at a reasonable price.

Such a lovely hotel but we got threatened to get robbed right outside. They do a good job making you feel safe with all the security but it’s sad that has to be done. Also no room service!
