Unwelcoming night manager and closed-looking lobby at 8 pm. Gave me a really weird room across from elevator. Shower had two towels laid over corroded-looking rubber threshold so I didn’t use. Mini bar was 1/3 full. Felt like an all-purpose room.

I really enjoyed my stay at the NU hotel. Everything from the lobby to my room was clean. Every staff member was kind, and I had no issues during my stay. I would definitely book again!

Stayed in a queen bed room that was apparently handicap accessible. Bathroom was very nice although the shampoo and lotion containers were not filled. Room was roomy by New York standards. Very minimalist decor. Coffee always available in the lobby

The property was disappointing. The air conditioner was very loud and only worked intermittently. The refrigerator did not work. The old pipes made a loud noise when toilet flushed or used the faucet. The sink in the bathroom was very slow and backed up a bit.some of the staff we not personable at all. Overall it was not a great experience. It is a great location

I found the hotel to have a "youth hostel like" feel. Staff was very friendly and helpful but overall the hotel was not what I was expecting. My bed was on a low bed frame with just a mattress so anyone with difficulty standing from a lower surface would definitely have difficulties getting out of bed. My VIP upgrade bottle of wine was 2 small airplane sized bottles . Hotel was clean and well kept and I did feel safe.
