Hotel is in an excellent location, walkable to Times Square and Penn Station. Hotel staff are friendly with an excellent Moxy Bar. Rooms can be small with a noisy AC unit however to be expected when staying in NYC. Be aware of the $30 per day destination fee that is applied to your reservation - you must use this or lose it (can be used at the coffee shop next door or at the hotel bar - not the rooftop or restaurant which was disappointing). Overall good hotel for a few days in NYC.

There are much better choices near Times Square
Smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Bathroom sink was 2 inches deep and in the hallway to the entry door. No closet or armoire, just peghooks on one wall to hang your clothes. Had to crawl over the bed to lower the window shade - no space to walk around the bed. One 18x18 nightstand was the only furniture. Marriott should be ashamed to put their brand on this!

Fun hotel with great bars onsite. Perfect location for restaurants within walking distance. It was very loud in the 3rd floor rooms because they are right above the bar on the second floor

Noisy Sleep and Bright Lights
Good hotel but if you’re trying to sleep, this is not the place for you. They play loud music throughout the hotel and there is a club on top of the roof that plays music until 4am. Wouldn’t recommend. We later got moved into a different room at midnight and couldn’t close the curtains to sleep.

Way overpriced budget hotel
Lady on reception was quite rude to myself and a colleague on check in and told us to try checking in online. There was a mandatory charge per night from the hotel that they said you could spend as credit in bar or on food, which are effectively extra charges. Rooms are tiny but also poorly supplied and air conditioning was super noisy. Shower was good, which a nice surprise! Elevator had panels cello-taped together as they were hanging off. Location is good, near time square and penn station.

We had disappointment with several aspects of our recent stay at your hotel. Our visit was intended to be a special girls trip, celebrating the October birthdays of four moms away from children, and unfortunately, a series of issues significantly impacted our experience. 1.Room Change Without Adequate Notice: On the day of our check-in, we received an email stating that the room we had specifically booked was no longer available. Instead, we were offered a different room. This arrangement was inconvenient for our group, as we had paid more to ensure that each of us had separate beds. While we appreciate the 50% reimbursement, this unexpected change negatively affected our comfort during the stay, especially given that we were unable to make alternate arrangements due to our tight schedule 2. Lack of Hot Water: Upon returning to the hotel, we were surprised to find that there was no hot water. We were not informed of this issue prior to our arrival or during our stay, and it persisted into the following morning. This was especially inconvenient as we had planned to relax and prepare for a day of photos and sightseeing. 3.Poor Communication : There was the lack of responsive customer service. When we inquired about these issues, we were told multiple times that the front desk would pass along our concerns to management. However, despite these assurances, no one from management contacted us, leaving us with any resolution or assistance.

I was out on the 17th floor not knowing the roof top bar was above me. I had nothing but bass beats every night until 2-3am and was worse on Saturday night. I asked to be moved and was told there weren’t any other rooms available. Also my room was skipped by housekeeping and was too late to do anything about it when I got back to my room. Also didn’t know about the $30 charge for internet and such. All in all I was not happy with my stay here this trip. Have stayed here before but this will be my last time staying here. Used to be a much nicer and more accommodating place.
