Great location and a good place to stay
This hotel is a convenient location, just a couple of blocks from the metro and close to Broadway. There are lots of fun Korean restaurants close by. The room was nice, comfortable bed, mini fridge with free water, and breakfast was good as long as you are ok with carbs. You can enjoy the view from an outdoor patio. Internet was slow, challenging for zoom/video calls, and at one point I got the message it was full. At the front desk they gave me a different network and I was able to get on. Elevator was an ok speed. Plan ahead if you want ice as they have to deliver it to you. (But no noisy icemakers on the floors!). Staff were friendly. I would stay here again.

Skip this one..seriously.
In NYC for a business trip and trade shows and thought we'd give the Mondrian a shot because of hotel group reputation and proximity to our meetings. 6 night stay. First day, tried for 11 hours to get the room serviced through phone calls, in person pleas to the front desk all to no avail. Waited 5 days to have one pair of pants laundered. Came home to find housekeeping in our room watching Tik Tok videos, she apologized and left but left behind dirty rags and cleaning supplies. Was told by housekeeping they wanted to change our sheets but ran out of clean ones. Also ran out of towels. Had to go call twice before we got them. Wifi was super spotty and slow and TV didn't work. Maintenance said it was due to the rain. ??? Casting service to cast from our own devices to the TV never worked. They charge a resort fee but don't have a pool or spa. We should have checked out and switched hotels. Staff was nice but ineffective in actually helping with anything. Will not make this mistake again. There are much better options for the money. Disaster, in fact, worst hotel stay I have ever experienced and I travel for work.
