The hotel's pics look way nicer and more boutique than the real deal. The lobby's okay they've got a pool table, but no bar or restaurant. As soon as you step off the elevator, it feels like you're at a motel. The courtyard thing didn't live up to the photos it was there, but nothing was set up and everything looked thrown together. The rooms facing this kinda shared hallway vibe really kill the boutique vibes.
I closed the blinds as soon as I got to my room, mostly for privacy it felt weird having the hallway peek into my space. And sure enough, at night there was this annoying strip of light seeping in from the hall.
The room's just fine. Nothing about it really stands out it felt like the furniture was straight from IKEA. It's like they slapped some black and white art on the wall and were all, "Yep, that's a boutique experience, folks." One thing they do get credit for, though: the bed was comfy.
