The staff was very very friendly and went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable. Showers had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Loved the breakfast facility and all day hot drinks was a bonus. Comfortable beds. I'll be back!

Very convenient location
Great location in mid town Manhattan with convenient access to trains. Room is rather outdated but cleanliness level is acceptable. Had issues with the TV set and hair dryer and these were promptly attended to by the friendly hotel staff.

The TV didnt work all weekend and the told the front desk twice and nothing ever came about it so I think they just threw my complaint. And the shower was broke, either freezing cold water or scolding hot water. Wifi was garbage when it did work. Other than that, it was really nice.

Property was close to everything.Subways station,shopping and has a lot of food choices which are all on walking distance.Breakfast was ok,although they need to put different varieties everyday.But the whole experience I would rate it as very good.

Great Stay, Very Nice Accomodations
This was my first stay at the Stanford. I was treated well from the front door service to check in. I arrived early, but i was offered bag service while I shopped till check in which was really nice. The property is very clean, quiet and in a safe area and my room was really comfortable. I especially liked the mini fridge to keep things cold if needed. They have a complimentary continental breakfast from 6-10 which is nice for early risers that dont want to go too far for morning coffee and small bites. You can also store your bags after check out, so you can do last minute shopping and enjoy more of what the city has to offer. Overall I had a wonderful visit and will definitely stay at Hotel Sanford again.

My room’s phone was broken and when they fixed it the wake up failed. The staff did their best to make my stay pleasant. The so called complimentary breakfast was joke. I’ve been in cheaper hotels that serve more than toast and coffee.

The internet and tv where out the first day the staff could not fix it the water did not drain when you used the shower i was standing in 5 inches of water the sink drained just as slow the staff was great they where very nice

This was the perfect place for our needs. Came for a show at Madison Square Garden, the hotel was just blocks away. Did other sightseeing as well. It's a great location.
