Nice hotel with comfortable bed. Older hotel so understandable that room was small. No microwave or fridge plus ice machine was on first floor. Breakfast was a $10 voucher for bakery adjacent to hotel. Limited offerings but very good. Overall a good experience.

Beautiful historic Hotel in an excellent location … we loved the included breakfast vouchers for the French Bakery (so delicious) … we loved our view of the Hudson River … very clean & comfortable rooms … helpful & friendly staff. The included Streetwise Walking Tours were an excellent bonus … loved the tours we went on … great guides!

Hotel Belleclaire is perfect because we were able to walk to Moma, Central Park, and other fun locations. The hotel is very clean and the staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. We will stay here again.

In general, the Belleclaire is a great hotel for visiting the upper West side of Manhattan. It's well designed, with real humans manning the doors and front desk. The elevators are prompt although very small. And there's a gorgeous staircase if you want to get your steps in. The rooms have some variability. So you might not get what you think you're getting. Given this is a very old building, it can come with problems. Our room had a leaky water valve that flooded the area in front of our toilet, plus a towel bar whose screw had come loose and popped off the wall, and a thermostat that wouldn't heat or cool the room, or even blow air. It's always good to ask for maintenance as soon as you see a problem, as the room cleaners don't check that level of detail. Desk clerks were really nice. We didn't make use of the breakfast vouchers because the lines were pretty long just for free coffee and pastries. If I could improve their rooms it would be with in room coffee makers and mini fridges.

We had a very relaxing stay. Loved having the coupons for coffee/pastry every am at Mille. Also the wine evening. Thank you for that! My only complaint was that the mattress was too soft for my back, but didn’t bother my husband. Thanks again for your nice hospitality.

Very nice option on Upper West Side. Appreciated being given one of the rooms with king bed with curved bump out with windows that is pictured in the hotel website. Great perk to have daily credit with bakery on the ground floor. Only complaint is the walls are paper thin. People in the adjoining room speaking at normal volume sounded like they were in the room with us.
