Outdated hotel in good location

Staff was friendly but not quite accommodating. Furniture is old, most power outlets didn’t work. AC system is quite loud. Overall: this hotel needs an update

I think this property has a great location. I traveled by myself and the staff was polite. The room is very plain but I was not hanging out there only slept there . It was made daily. The ice machine in the corridor was loud, I thought someone was trying to get in but it was the ice machine. No food or kitchen and when I asked about a vending machine they said there is none. They have an ATM. I think it’s a very simple hotel with no restaurant but the price was less than half of the cheaper surrounding ones in the area.

The hotel is next to a club, and we did not get much sleep during our five-night stay. $80 was credited back to us when we mentioned it, and they told us there was a club next door. Worse, we were charged a Smoking Fee when we checked out, and we were not in our room at the time of detection. We are currently disputing the charge using the hotel's dispute form.

Hotel 57 was a great choice. Terrific location for what my needs were for this trip. The hotel staff was pretty friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a little wear on it yet in the very big picture I was very satisfied. My room was clean, room attendant for that floor was lovely. I would consider staying at Hotel 57 again in the future.

The location is fabulous. The infrastructure is run down, and the services are down to a bare minimum. No mini bar, no bottled eater, the lobby has limited seating area, the wood paneling is scratched , the rugs are old, some of the furnishings are stained. But the location is superb, and there are many places in the area to buy bottled water and snacks.

Glad I found this hotel whose price wasn’t outrageous during the UN Assembly’s meeting week. Loved the location & everyone that worked there was wonderful. Super professional, helpful & friendly. Property was a little dated but everything was clean. I’d stay here again.
