Room felt neglected, staff wasn't great, our windows were duct taped shut, half of the plugs in our room didn't work, the hallway was always full of carts (then it was an inconvenience when we needed to pass with luggage), vacuums and other things, the laundry area was wide open and had holes in the walls and it had less than one ply toilet paper in it. I expected significantly more from a nice hotel. With the exception of the check in area, it truly felt like a motel.

Room needs deep cleaning, corners, edges and under edges needed a good vacuum/damp wipe down. Air-conditioner/heater worked great but noisy. Staff was not always seen, and they did not greet on regular bases. No doorman. Quiet hotel even on 4th floor except the night between sat-sun nightclub downstairs boomed through till 6am, not just hearing it but feeling the resonation of loud music in the elements of the building.

It was not the hotel’s fault, it was actually Expedia’s (or at least that’s what they said). I booked a double bed room, because i was traveling with my friend and when i went there for my check in, the lady in the front desk said they had no more of those rooms available. This is actually not the first time something happens to me with Expedia - every single time i book something i go into the property and they never give the room i payed for.

While the property appears to have undergone a recent renovation, the room itself felt noticeably worn and insufficiently maintained, calling into question the quality and durability of the refurbishment. This is not the first occurrence—particularly when booking through Expedia—where I have been assigned a distinctly undesirable room at this hotel, which gives me serious pause about both returning to the property and continuing to use Expedia for future reservations. That said, the housekeeping attendant was exceptional—thorough, professional, and clearly committed to upholding cleanliness standards. Unfortunately, her efforts were undermined by broader facility and maintenance shortcomings. Additionally, I intend to review the so-called “facility fees,” as they lack transparency and appear unjustified for guests who do not utilize the amenities, potentially placing the property at odds with recent legal scrutiny in New York City regarding hidden fees.

Fire alarm went off at 8:11 AM. I woke up in a panic, packed my bags and when it was safe I ran out. Did not even take a shower. Very bad experience. Scared on the 7th floor with bags and luggage. Just wanted to get out safely ASAP. I request a refund. When I checked in, the receptionist was poor also. Early check in was $200 which is ridiculous. There is no system in place to let you know your room is ready early.

The air conditioner/radiator exploded in the middle of the night and flooded my room. I had to pack up and move rooms at 1am while maintenance staff stood in my room and provided no help. Not one staff person offered to help me with my belongings. Ended up having to move rooms 3x as they got me into an appropriate room and no one ever offered to assist me in moving my luggage.
