This hotel is right in the center of everything. Perfect spot to stay at when visiting New York. I was questionable about it because of the reviews, took a chance and it paid off. The room was clean, there was no mold what so ever, and I got my money back hours after I checked out. Thank you Hotel 27 by LuxUrban

Air conditioner was loud all night coming on every couple of minutes. I could hear all NY had to offer throughout the night outside in my room. The toilet ran and made a squelching noise most of the night as well. I barely got any sleep during my stay. The hotel doors slam hard so when you or ther guests leave it is very loud. The location is very convenient to many restaurants and stores, to include whole foods and a fresh juice spot. Check in and out was quick and easy but the building definitely needs to get some upgrades.

This is a very basic no frills older hotel. No amenities. The building and elevator and lobby is older but the room was exceptionally clean. The staff was superb. I checked in very early and they held my bags. I was from out of state and unfamiliar with the area and they were helpful with directions, recommendations, everything.

Pretty basic lodging. Bed was comfortable. Having Firestick and fridge fridge in room were nice. Toilet ran nonstop and shower water sprayed all over the floor outside of shower (glass partition but no curtain) - this created a significant slip hazard. The lobby was always super warm and uncomfortable. In the week there, most employees were ambivalent to guests. Two desk clerks and one room cleaner were super friendly however.

24/7 desk was always extremely friendly, helpful and supportive of anything we needed! Our room was very small but clean and had everything we might need (mini fridge, micro, hair dryer). It was great walking distance to everything as well.

I’ve stayed at a lot of places in New York and this is near the bottom of the pack. Bare bones room. Window air conditioning unit, which meant that you either had to choose between air-conditioning or sunlight and people able to see into your room. Pillows that were hard from I’m about 12 inches deep meaning your head was vertical all night. Trucks that woke me up at 4 AM. I called the property several times realizing that I was going to arrive very late and was told their number was out of service. I checked Expedia and saw that they typically responded to emails and about a day, which wasn’t going to help me. Then I got an email that was a very polite threat telling me that if I didn’t reach out to them, they were going to cancel my room by 11 PM. What kind of customer service is that?
