While there was nothing unique about the property, there was nothing bad about it, either, except that the pervasive smell of marijuana (which I cannot stand) was in the exit stairwell on my floor: I go to get ice, and each time I was blasted by the stink of pot. What is more, the entire stretch of Seventh Avenue between Penn Station and 42nd street reeked of pot. I'd suggest that your hotel management lobby NYC officials to contain when and where people can publicly smoke marijuana, because, walking down the streets, people ought not to be exposed to it.

If you require a room key to work the elevators, get them ALL to work. This was hit and miss all week. Moving from elevator to elevator to find a working one gets very old.

Not happy at all Just got charged for hidden fees they told me it was a 400 drls deposit, after checking out 2 days later they charged me with 275 dollars without notice or anything is so disappointed

The only issue we had was we were told to order our car 1 hour ahead form valet when checking out. When we did we were told it would be two hours. Which wasn't good for us cause my son had a show he was in that afternoon back in RI. Really want their fault cause they has a last min. staff shortage. And they did get our car for us faster than the two hours. So things happen and they did what they could to fix it.

Took interminably long time to check in on Friday evening- one person manning the desk.. Would have been nice to let guests know they can check in online and get a digital key if they are Hilton Honors members. Bathroom was slippery and I slipped and fell.. But no serious injury.. Would be wary if I was bringing older relatives to the property. Also, the empire state building view gave us a view if just the very top of the building - and we paid nearly $490 per night through Expedia. On the plus side, clean, quiet hotel with friendly cleaning and restaurant staff.
