We came in early to drop off luggages off before check-in. The staff that greeted us were curt and annoyed. I get it that its the morning and there is a lot going on but it wasnt necessary in how we were greeted (and other guests too). When we finally were able to check in, this completely other employee was absolutely wonderful though. She was very pleasant. The morning breakfast was horrible. Even the coffee was burnt and bitter. House keeping does come and take care of the rooms. New towels and trash. (Did have to ask for more towels though but that's neither here nor there). Would have liked an easoer drop off area to load and unload our baggage. Would not recommend staying here.

The property is conveniently located in the city. Easy to walk to most of the attractions(about 10 minutes). Also, since I drove to manhattan, it was nice to see that the hotel was not to far off the highway by car. Minimal traffic to deal with. The hotel is great for a 3 to 4 night stay. The only down side was the dining area is way too small for the volume of guests at the continental breakfast.

THEFT... Now that I have your attention, the Hotel was OK and conveniently located for my purposes. This review is low due to the Valet Parking Issue I had which involves the company Hampton chose to hire for this purpose. Upon return of my vehicle, I found a drink and napkins in the passenger side??? But the worst was they stole from the vehicle. The item stolen was low value, BUT important to me. DO NOT USE the Valet Service at this Hampton... if you do need Valet Parking, choose a different Hotel.

Decent-not great but several areas that were good
There was not enough shampoo in the shower and the shower gel and hand soap were switched so when taking a shower the only option was hand soap. The decorative window curtains were broken on one side. The pros: Breakfast had many options and was hot and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to sleep well because the beds were comfortable.

The front desk Miranda was great! Unfortunately besides for the bed being comfortable the ice bucket had mold in it, I requested a low floor a week ago do to a leg injury and we were placed on the 23rd floor. We waited standing fifteen minutes for an elevator that wasn’t filled with workers. The shower door didn’t close properly so water all over the floor. The breakfast was good but the place to eat was dirty. Location was decent.

The place was dirty and very cramped. Not like all the other first class Hampton Inns across the country. When you think of Hilton you think of s really nice hotel especially at what the price we paid for one night.

This is a crummy hotel. Small, smelly room. Very few services and really lazy attention to detail. I asked if the front desk would call us a cab and they said no. We asked to have our bags stored for an hour after we checked out and they lost one (they hadn’t stored them together so they couldn’t find one until I went into the storage room and eventually found it in a corner). The elevators are so slow we walked up and down the 7 flights to our room after waiting almost 20 mins for a car. You can do much better in the area.
