Lack of space for movility in the Breakfast area. Ran out of eggs to early in the week, since I’m assuming they got delivery on Monday but had not eggs on Thursday and throughout the week the eggs supply was limited. Out of that, the staff was really warmed and we enjoyed our journey staying at this place.

This Hampton Inn is a nice, clean place to stay in Chelsea, with very helpful front desk staff, decent size rooms, reasonable rates, and a solid breakfast included (waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, etc.). It's not a luxury hotel, but it's an excellent option if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable and helpful home base from which to explore Manhattan. If you're driving in, be aware of added parking expense - but that's true of pretty much all Manhattan hotels.

Great stay! The location was absolutely convenient. The area is close to restaurants, subway, sightseeing places. The hotel is in good condition. We really appreciated the shower, it had a very good water pressure which we needed to wash the long hair. The staff is very friendly and professional. I recommend this stay.

Hampton Chelsea hotel
Great location, central to most attractions with good links to the subway nearby. The hotel itself is a little tired, but not a major issue. The elevators could do with an upgrade as 2 old elevators struggled to cope with all 19 floors at busy times. The staff were attentive and helpful, particularly Maria in the breakfast room, who always had a smile despite being rushed off her feet. The free breakfast is good, but got busy and there is limited seating space, so be prepared to queue.

Sharon, who checked us in when we arrived after 2 a.m., was amazing. She provided a warm welcome and gave us all the relevant information in a timely, friendly manner. Breakfast was great and everyone working the breakfast area was helping. The staff didn't start putting breakfast away before it was technically over, as is the case at many hotels. Our room was on 2nd floor and many people used the staircase instead of the elevator. The fire door beside our room was ridiculously noisy causing some noise issues. There was also a weird scratching noise one morning that woke us up because it was strange and loud. Otherwise, an amazing stay in a great neighbourhood.
