Brilliant
2 adults and 2 teenage boys in room with 2 queen beds. The rooms were large for NYC standards. Great beds brilliant location basically across from Herald Square. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast and 24 hr coffee and hot chocolate staff super friendly . Been many times to nyc but this is our new go to hotel !

Love the fact it's right up from Penn Station...right across from Macy*s....can walk about anywhere in Times Square area...Staff was great...breakfast was ok ..a typical hotel breakfast...but good to start your day...if you want more It's NYC go out and get some...will stay again

I liked that I was able to check my luggage in before check in time and then check my luggage in again after I checked out of the hotel. My flight wasn’t until 6pm so it was convenient to check in luggage and come back and get it after exploring all day. My only complaint is that we booked a king size hotel room for a romantic wedding anniversary trip and when we got there at 3pm on the dot they said they ran out of rooms and had switched us to a two double bed room. For the price the beds were uncomfortable and very small for two people. Still expected to pay full price even tho this was an inconvenience for us.

The location was excellent. Easy to reach once exited the Lincoln tunnel and away from the hustle of Times Square. Parking was on the same street. One block from Macy’s. Times Square within a walking distance, about 10 minutes by foot. The one big drawback occurred at check-in. I booked a King and was told it was no longer available and could only give me a 2 double bed room. I had to put up a fight. A hold charge had already appeared on my visa in the morning prior to check in. I was very upset and after all this turmoil I was told they found me a King bed. Was this necessary. No where on the website did it show that rooms can be changed. This experience left be shaken and left me to question what else the hotel could come up with. Did not trust the hotel from that point on and was checking my visa daily to see what extra charges could be placed. I wasn’t sure if I could find another hotel at short notice so I felt forced to stay.

Very noisy
On first impression the room was nice enough and good location, however that soon changed. The bed was rock solid and the noise was horrific. The road noise sounded like I had the window open, constant traffic and bin collections through the night. There was a high pitch noise off and on through the night which I think may have been the lift going up and down. The air conditioning clicked on and was so loud I got a fright, I was already awake or it would have woke me up. I have never felt so tired after a night in a hotel in my life. I felt sick and had a long day ahead of me - a half day in the city followed by a 12 hour journey (two flights) to get home. When I informed the receptionist in the morning he just shrugged it off and asked how many bags I was storing. I had spent the previous 4 nights just off Times Square and had no issues at all with noise. Not impressed.

Good size room. Clean room friendly staff. Good breakfast. Attentive housekeeping. Bad view. Just brick wall and trash cans. Only real negative was employees kept hitting the trash cans with a shovel from 10-11 pm every night.
