It was great being so close to the big city but with a little seclusion from constant big city activity. Aerial tram to Manhattan was a few minute walk away and subway was only another 2 minutes. Will be staying here again next time back to NYC

This property was on the beautiful water at Rosevelt Island. The minute we stepped in the staff was so friendly. They were amazing to us. We were able to upgrade to a suite for my daughter’s 21 birthday. Our suite was so clean, so beautiful, and the view was absolutely stunning. The food was so good, the atmosphere was so calm and we can’t wait to stay there again!

Excellent facilities, staff, service, beds, and restaurant. The only issue is that it is way too bare bones. If you need a snack or a beverage after hours your only option is to get all the way dressed and hoof it to Duane Reed … not a long walk but seems like a self service snack bar would go a long way. Especially for guests with children.

This is by far the best location for a hotel in NYC because of the quiet location and easy way to get to Manhattan. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is A la Carte. We will come back here!

I was impressed from the moment I entered the property. It is well-decorated and very appealing. Flyboy is a definite bonus! The staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about activities nearby and how to access public transportation. They were engaging and gave great tips on my areas of interest in the city! The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. I will most definitely utilize the Graduate on all of my trips back to New York!

Housekeeping snafu; fine after that!
I arrived at 8pm and went to my room to find that housekeeping hasn't cleaned the room from the previous guest... the front desk apologized and quicky offered me another room, which was perfectly clean and ready for a new guest.
