The room is gorgeous with two king-size beds. The bathroom is lovely. The room is quite spacious. There is virtually no lobby. However, the person at the desk could not be more accommodating.

Lovely little hotel - ideal location
Lovely little hotel - very small and not necessarily what I was expecting but rooms were of a good size, service was really good and bar next door was great with fab food! We had a few issues with our safe not working in room but hotel were great at coming straight to room to fix it. The only downside was ordering a cab for our return flight to JFK via the hotel. We were told that we could pay using card. The cab driver was 15mins late & then advised using google translate that he only accepted cash. This meant we had to get out of the cab and flag down a yellow cab. This was the only negative for us with the hotel, given they said it’s a taxi firm that they use regularly. Otherwise, lovely hotel in a superb location!

Lovely hidden gem on restaurant row in The City! I have been on this part of 46th Street numerous times over the years and had never noticed this hotel until it came up on an Expedia search, now that I've discovered it we'll be back for sure. I had noted on the reservation that in addition to Thanksgiving our stay was a bit of a late 80th birthday celebration for my Mom, when we arrived we were upgraded from a king room to a two bedroom suite and got to the room to discovery a bottle of prosecco and a happy birthday note from the hotel - well above and beyond on the part of the hotel! Attentive staff provided a lovely respite from the City. We'll be back!

Nice hotel on Restaurant Row NYC
Very nice and convenient hotel on Restaurant Row, walkable every where. Be aware on the first floor , there is a kind of lounge/ restaurant below, music noise quite late until 2 am… Otherwise, clean, good breakfast, variety of restaurants around.

Lovely staff, and thank you for the upgrade! Not a complaint, but just know you will hear people coming and going late into the evening. Continental breakfast was varied and we did not leave hungry. Everything was very clean. We will be back!

I had a terrific stay at the Sherman hotel. The location and the room were perfect and I was surprised by how great the quality of the gym was. Staff was extra friendly and gave great recommendations for food options nearby. I will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Hotel Scherman. Great service from all the friendly staff, super comfy and accommodating room and a fantastic location just on the edge of Times Square. The Tavern next door was also great. Totally recommend. The roof terrace would be a huge advantage in the hotter months too.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Scherman! Our room was clean and spacious and we appreciated having 2 Queen beds (rare for NYC!). The breakfast was great with good options for everyone in our group. The only downside of the hotel is that there isn’t really a lobby of the hotel, but the staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The location was great, right by Restaurant Row and close to the theatre district and Times Square. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to NYC!

The room itself looked nice. I didn’t know when booking there are 2 buildings. If you are in the second one there is no elevator. We had to climb 3 flights to get to our room. I noticed the douvet and one of the towels had a stain. The safe wasn’t reset before we got there and we had to wait for someone to come fix it. At one point we also had no water and the bed was rock hard.

We originally got a smaller room for a quick honeymoon getaway but got upgraded to a suite & it was amazing. The balcony view was amazing, everything was extremely clean, the staff was super sweet, breakfast was super good, 100000/10. I did not want to leave. Can’t wait to visiting NYC and book here again. Thank you guys so much!
