Everything was perfect, until we came back to retrieve the bags we left in storage in the morning. It took 10 minutes from when he handed over the number tags for someone to finally arrive with the key to unlock that door so we could access the bags. Honestly was not great considering we were on a time crunch

Everything was amazing and clean. Front desk was also great apart from the girl who was working night shifts, we asked her a couple of times for towels etc. and she would never send anybody to get us anything.

I experienced two separate strange events while staying at the Dillon for a total of only five nights. Once, late at night, all of the power went off to my room Because a maintenance worker turned off the circuit breaker to my room. This was only discovered after I had to search through the dark and go downstairs in my pajamas. The very next day, still feeling somewhat unsettled, I came home late in the evening to find the lights on in my room, fast food, sitting on the table, and the television on tuned into ESPN. Clearly, someone had been hanging out in my room And I had to search to make sure they were not still there. The hotel staff claimed that it was a mistaken, DoorDash delivery, but that doesn’t explain the television on. Neither of these events are OK, especially for a woman traveling alone in a hotel in New York.

Fantastic hotel - highly recommend!
Great stay - fantastic and clean room, lovely high ceiling and comfortable bed, perfect location close to grand central terminal and Bryant park; but luckily the rooms are very quiet.

I absolutely love a boutique hotel and the Dylan did not disappoint. It was only a 12 minute walk to Timesquare which was an absolute plus for me. The room was clean, smelled exquisitely fresh everytime I walked in, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very professional and polite. Even arranging transportation back to the airport was a breeze. Will definitely stay again!

I travel a lot for business and Dylan Hotel is one of the best hotels I stayed at. The room is very special (king bed room) Hugh ceiling, comfortable environment, and I love how they go the extra mile to provide some extra tools in the room like two disposable slippers, two bath robes, an umbrella, steam iron, among other things. The service l, however, had a bit of a bump. I asked for extra water two times but never got them. But the gentleman refunded the $16 fees on checkout and apologized.

The rooms were spectacular. Our room had a 15foot ceiling which really affected how you felt in the room. It was quiet and very comfortable. We would stay there again

They were doing renovations and only 1 elevator was being used by contractors and hotel guests.So it was not fun waiting for the elevator. But other then that it was clean and close to everything.I would reccomend it.

Renovation Galore, No Amenities, Time Eating
The hotel was under full renovation, but no mention on my reservation anywhere in hotels.com communication and still $200+ a night. Only 1 elevator worked and hotel lobby was a single desk up on the 11th floor. No workout facility. No Lobby. Dust smell and workmen using hotel elevator and holding the elevator on their floors for long periods of time. Only reason I didnt demand to cancel to go elsewhere was because it was 4:00 pm and wouldn't get to take son to Empire State Bldg, Time Square etc. in time otherwise as leaving next morning. I cannot even figure out how to complain or demand a refund on hotels.com either. Disappointing all around for what is portrayed as (and likely is) a very nice place once it is renovated. The rooms are nice, but during renovation I started hearing loud noises around 600/630 AM.
