We really enjoyed our stay at The Dylan. The staff went above & beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. The young girl that worked the front desk typed up a list for our own “food tour” The beds were comfortable and loved the decor!

Nestled in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from iconic spots like Times Square, Bryant Park, and the Empire State Building. Check-in and Service: The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips on nearby attractions and dining options. Their warmth set a positive tone for my stay. Room: The room itself was cozy and well-appointed, with a modern design that still felt welcoming. I appreciated the comfortable bed and ample amenities, including a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was clean and featured high-quality toiletries. Amenities: The hotel offers a nice selection of amenities, including a fitness center and complimentary Wi-Fi, which worked perfectly throughout my stay. The location was perfect. Close to NYPL and Grand Central. Super clean hotel. Never worried about crime. Comfortable bed. Plenty of room for 2. Clean, working shower, toilet and sink area. The hotel checked in with us daily, by text, to see how we were enjoying our stay and if they could do more to make it stay more enjoyable. On our last day, they had a bag check so we could enjoy one last day of NYC before heading to the airport. Would totally stay here again.

Very nice small boutique hotel, recently renovated. My superior king room was small , maybe average by New York standards? but well appointed.and furnished. . The bed was comfortable . Other than multiple requests to get an adequate number of clean towels , housekeeping was fine. The room contained a safe, mini fridge coffee maker and large flat screen tv. Water pressure in the bathroom was a little lower than I prefer but OK. The hotel was noisy as renovations were occurring in the building, though it was quiet enough at night for sleeping. The front desk staff was great, and provided excellent customer service. I received an early check in for the asking with a complimentary room upgrade. The checkout process was equally painless and speedy. The staff was friendly polite and efficient. There were multiple restaurants within an easy walking distance of the hotel, as well convenient shopping areas. I recommended this hotel and would stay there again in the future.

Everything was perfect, until we came back to retrieve the bags we left in storage in the morning. It took 10 minutes from when he handed over the number tags for someone to finally arrive with the key to unlock that door so we could access the bags. Honestly was not great considering we were on a time crunch

I experienced two separate strange events while staying at the Dillon for a total of only five nights. Once, late at night, all of the power went off to my room Because a maintenance worker turned off the circuit breaker to my room. This was only discovered after I had to search through the dark and go downstairs in my pajamas. The very next day, still feeling somewhat unsettled, I came home late in the evening to find the lights on in my room, fast food, sitting on the table, and the television on tuned into ESPN. Clearly, someone had been hanging out in my room And I had to search to make sure they were not still there. The hotel staff claimed that it was a mistaken, DoorDash delivery, but that doesn’t explain the television on. Neither of these events are OK, especially for a woman traveling alone in a hotel in New York.
