Great location, walkable and easy to find but also off main roads so not over crowded! The rooms were small, but to be expected. Clean and cute! Staff was unfriendly and rude.

The room had a king size bed, had some storage for my clothes, and loved the decor. The room is smaller than I was used to from other tris to NYC, but it was great for me. I like the view. It was a block and a half from Times Square. Great location to walk to shows or food.

Loved my stay at Civilian hotel! Great area to be in. Times Square is close if that’s your thing or just head over to Hell’s Kitchen if it’s not. The hotel itself was very nice and clean. I loved the vibe of the room and would absolutely stay here again!

as far as location. You’re definitely in walking distance to everything which is why I chose the hotel but the side street that it’s on was pretty dirty a lot of trash kind of dark didn’t feel overly safe at night walking down could use better lighting

Could be better…
Location is perfect. If you choose the smallest room, it is really small. There is no closet, no drawers. No space at all. But we managed. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom small but functional. Points go down as there is no room cleaning service and, if your towels get wet because the shower is open, well… no one will bring you any towels, no matter how many times you request them. The Hotel restaurant is great. For this reasons, we chose a different Hotel for our next visit.
