My husband and I ejoyed our stay that the City Club Hotel. It was clean and the staff was always polite and extremely helpful. Breakfast was basic--pastries, cereal and coffee, but it was sufficient. The king room was also very spacious (which is hard to come by in NYC) and could've easily fit a family of 3 or 4. Everywhere in the city is walkable, but this particular hotel is conveniently located about halfway between Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center. There are quite a few bars and restaurants within a 1 or 2 block radius which was nice. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location. Pricey but accommodated our family's needs. No view...we looked at a brick wall but rooms were cozy and nicely decorated. Lobby is very narrow but quaint. Would have definitely given the staff a 5 but the attendant checking us in was not very welcoming; however, the attendant beside her definitely matched our energy and was kind. Very responsive to our request for additional blankets as well. From pics it looks like you walk into a larger space but it is actually between 2 other venues. Would probably research other options a little more away from the epicenter of Midtown now that we are more comfortable using Apple Maps subway feature mainly due to the lack of any kind of view vs. price. Overall it was a great trip. We spent very little time in our rooms. These are just some thoughts for those that may be planning a future trip.
