Long wait for check in and check out Very small rooms. Misleading photos online for room size/ bathroom size. Wasn’t told during online booking that they are undergoing repairs so there was scaffolding on the windows. Booking said free continental breakfast, which was only choice of 1 pastry and coffee. But very helpful and friendly staff. Nice salsa music band for New Year’s Eve night.

The hotel has a good atmosphere and a lively bar area. It’s a great location for walking and the rooms, although reasonably small (New York style) were pretty good and have all you need. It wasn’t particularly good value for money, but that was mainly because we came around Christmas, which is historically an expensive time.

This was my second stay at the Arthouse and I really cannot fault them. The service is always good and efficient, whether it be those on the desk, the bar or at the door, every one is really friendly and helpful. I didn't have any issues but whenever I needed something extra, like a blanket or an extra pillow, it was never too much trouble. I've stayed in the regular sized room and the larger room and they're both great, whilst not newly renovated they're comfortable and clean. I wouldn't hesitate staying again when I next visit NY.

The staff were very accommodating and kind. there are many sweet spots to perch in the lobby area and some delicious baked goods and coffee at their bakery. Elegant feel with a bohemian vibe.
