Ok here is the deal: midtown location was good. The front desk people need to be more friendly. The doormen were great. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel could use an update. The mattress was saggy. Rooms a bit dated. No view. The rooms were very clean. Cleaning staff deserves credit. No restaurant. They do have coffee in the morning.

Location, location, location!
This was in the perfect spot for our trip! Just down the street from Central Park and Times Square but just far enough where the crowds were not nearly as bad. Loved the service as well.

We (my sister & I) liked everything about the Ameritania Hotel Times Square. It's located only steps away from the heart of Times Square, & the Broadway District; so we were able to walk to many of our destinations without having to spend too much on rideshares / taxis. The hotel is an older property, however accommodations were nice & modern. In addition the front desk staff was quick to resolve an issue (caused by Expedia) during my check in.. Kudos to Shay!!

Perfect location for a tourist however, the AC wasn't working properly, we had to open the windows at night. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The bathroom in the lobby needed to clean more often, look more like a public restroom than a $400 a night hotel.

This hotel was in a great location and easy subway access. It was clean and served its purpose for our trip. New York is noisy in general and our room was pretty noisy. Just bring we mask and ear plugs. It did the trick for us. Great place to stay.
