Absolutely beautiful with an incredible view of the city. Amazing location due to proximity to subway and popular restaurants. Would definitely recommend and pricing was great for a 2 night stay.

This hotel was falsely advertised and in terrible condition. There was a full on fight in the lobby with police and violence our first night. There was zero security to get in and out. Random people came and went. They did nothing about a smoking guest in the room next to us. This is far from a luxury hotel and they OVERCHARGED by so much. Hugely disappointing.

The pictures of the venue are misleading. Our original room had a window that looked into a brick wall. Ugh! The replacement room had no heat and we existed on 2 portable heaters. We were to receive a refund for a portion of the room rate due to the lack of heat, but the refund never appeared. The location was really the only saving aspect of this property.

Perfect location. However, when we arrived, they gave us a room on the second floor with commercial AC right next to the window; it was very noisy. After we complained they gave us another room on a higher floor, but in that room, the heating system was not working, and they brought us portable heaters, but that system would dry the air and the windows were broken and we couldn’t open them. So they gave us a third room that had a heating system working, but the windows were broken as well. It was very expensive for the room that faced another building. I was expecting a very nice view for $500 a night, but it looked like a cheap motel.

Just an Ok stay at 6 Columbus.
The room was comfortable and a good size. It was wonderful to be able to make the room an icebox, the way I like it to sleep. The room was clean as well. Really appreciated the complimentary bottle of water. However, the amenities are sparse—I’ve stayed at this property in the past and there used to be a vanity kit (qtips/cotton balls) and they no longer had those, there was only one bathrobe, one garbage can, they don’t have the travel sized toiletries (this was a problem because the pump on the lotion was broken), only one bar of soap. The room is not functional for people under 6’ tall—I couldn’t see into the bathroom mirror, and the shower handle was too high up. The overhead light didn’t work and there was a hole in the comforter cover. Since we were only staying one night it wasn’t a big deal but the room was expensive for what we got. I think we had a king deluxe room.
