We enjoyed our stay here for 5 days in October. It was a beautiful property and the house was cute and very clean. Shortly before our stay we were notified that the property had been sold, but the new owner made sure the transition of our reservation was seamless and was very quick to respond to our questions. The house was clean, had plenty of towels & supplies, and the bed was very comfortable. Instructions throughout the house were very clear, as were directions and check in info. The property was great with the walking trails, activities, jacuzzi, fire pit, pond and lots of wildlife that came to visit. The one thing that could be improved would be more storage in the kitchen. There were no empty cupboards to store food and supplies we brought, so everything was left out on the stove and kitchen table. Also be aware that you are in a rural area so internet is spotty and phone service is basically non-existent. We had to drive into town to make phone calls. We absolutely loved hiking in Hocking Hills state park and exploring the area!! We ate in several restaurants in town and near by and they were all very good. Be sure to visit the washboard factory and store for the best ice cream at Shorty’s Ice Cream Parlor!! We would absolutely stay here again.
