I was not able to check into my room until the following day. I had to pay to stay at a different hotel the first night. When I went to check in at the Islander, she said I could have checked in the day prior. There was miscommunication in their end. I was understanding due to the hurricane. My room was at the end of the hall, which was next to the door. There was a wind noise that so obnoxiously loud, it was near impossible to sleep. The air conditioner also did not work sometimes and I would wake up sweating. Thankfully I brought a fan that I was able to use. The room hasn’t had a good cleaning in ages, very dusty. Overall was disappointed.

Medium size property with owners, renters, and accommodation. Well appointed amenities, nice staff, well maintained, beachfront, daily activities on the pool deck were fun! Would definitely go back here again!

I liked how close to the beach it was! It was also close to a few restaurants and the room was spacious. Also affordable so that was nice! However we did not have shampoo or conditioner in the room, so make sure to pack some.

The room that we reserved and paid for was not the room that we received. I am familiar with the property and the description provided by Expedia did not match the room we were given. Do not book a stay at this resort through Expedia

Excelent access to beach. Flagers Ave is great place to shop walk and dine nearby as well as downtown New Smyrna across bridge. Do need car but all resorts here require that
