This 1899 house has been recently remodeled. The remodel drew out the rugged and raw beauty. (This is real camping with all the amenities of a home.) It was designed to be a rural and mountainy getaway with a Scandinavian feel. It will be great to bring the clan and enjoy the Southwest Lancaster County outdoors including closeby fishing, hiking, etc.
Southwestern Lancaster County is the best of the county's outdoors.
It is also one of the highest spots in Lancaster County. On a good day and from parts of the property you can see clearly across the county (about 30 miles)
The driveway separates the game room / lofts and the main house. The hot tub is off to the side of the main house with the firepit outback.

Sleeping arrangements: the house sleeps 8 comfortably. 10 is possible with the couch and an air mattress. 11 and 12 will be tight.
Our thought is to feel free to bring a tent or something if you wish to accommodate more than 12. We are also fine with more than 12 people, but we request that you get our approval beforehand.

NEIGHBORHOOD
The property is on an approximately 2-acre parcel in the middle of the rugged and gorgeous landscape of southwestern Lancaster County. Lancaster County's best outdoor fun is closeby. Amish farms dot the landscape closeby.
The surrounding neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves.

THINGS TO NOTE | SAFETY & CONSIDERATIONS
● ID and security deposit are required to be submitted electronically before arrival. A rental agreement is also required to be submitted before granting access to the property. This is done electronically.
● The property is located along a main road. You will hear some of the traffic.
● Hot tub is in the sideyard. Children can access it and must never be left unattended.
● Kids play structure. Kids must not be left unattended.
● There are 2 lofts in the game room with ladders. Children must never be left unattended in the game room.
● There are also some spot on the play structures that a child could fall from. Children must never be left unattended.
● Carbon Monoxide Alarm is installed and placed in compliance with the local municipal building code. There is one in the common living area
● Smoke Alarm is installed and placed in compliance with the local municipal building code. Includes each bedroom, hallway, and most common areas.
● Outside security cameras. Cameras record, are visible & are NOT inside of the building.
● Noise monitoring devices. Detect disruptive or destructive noise levels i.e. illegal parties. They DO NOT listen to you or record audio.
