Fabulous location

The suite was spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. The hotel is in the centre of the French Quarter but the courtyard location is like an oasis. It is lovely and quiet. We slept well every night. The services received from all staff were excellent.

The location is unbeatable! While it was unseasonably cold during my stay, the outdoor spaces are great as well. Factor in the $50/night parking as you are budgeting your stay. Highly recommended.

I stay here every time I come to New Orleans. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and enjoys hearing from guests having a great time in the quarter. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the building is classic. When you are here, you feel the culture and history of the city, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Wonderful staff. Close to everything you’d want to see in the French Quarter. Minutes from Bourbon Street and seconds to Jackson Square. Cool old buildings made this hotel unique.

Unfortunately I wish our stay was a little better. Our room was definitely one of the older ones, which we expected but it reminded me of a dungeon. There was no windows and the walls were concrete. We were on the first floor closest to the street so everyone walking by partying could be heard from our room. We also were right by the courtyard so everyone who decided to talk on speakerphone while sitting outside could be heard all night. I would recommend getting a room way in the back if you stay here. The staff was very nice though. That was probably the best part. And it’s close to Jackson Square.

I travel often and I have to say this is my favorite place that I've stayed to date. The staff was absolutely top notch. Super friendly folks. 24 hour front desk service and valet parking was so helpful in the quarter. Location was awesome and the property is very well maintained. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in NOLA.

Charming old world hotel with beautiful courtyards. However, we could hear everything from the adjacent rooms. Plus the room had no windows so we lost track of time. Next time we will ask for a room with windows.

Place d’Arms is so convenient and yet so peaceful. I love hearing the church bells during the day and the reflective nature of the courtyards. Our latest room was a little musty, but probably due to all the rain this winter. The hotel is a tour of NOLA history itself. We always stay at PDA!

I have rarely stayed at a place more accommodating. The staff (Rody!) are so sweet and make it so pleasant. The room we stayed in was a windowless room ( I chose this for the price) and small but so cozy and quiet! We slept so great. The next morning we got up and walked one block to Cafe du Monde for breakfast. The front desk held our car and luggage until 2:00! We will definitely be back. It was a perfect trip. ❤️
