My families request of having ajoining or close rooms was denied. We couldn't even check into our second room when we checked into the first because the second room wasn't cleaned yet. We were given dingy roll out mattresses. Hot water did not work at all. Ac did not function at all.. Free breakfast was powdered eggs and stale bagels

Eehhh…
Check in was quick.. however their keycard machine was not working. So we had no room key for our whole stay(which was 1 night) so that was an inconvenience. Can’t get in the hotel, on the elevator or in your room without an employee. I don’t know how they were able to remember who stayed in whose room as they didn’t ask for an ID or anything. Breakfast was ok.

First of all, my trash was never taken out of my room , and the hotel staff never brought up fresh linens on a daily basis . The carpet was full of sticky stain and dingy looking . Moreover , the check in representatives were very unprofessional , most of them had very bad attitudes. I would never ever recommend La Quinta Inn & suites to anyone coming to New Orleans . The serve is very poor; on top of the hidden charges, that they charge you when you get to the hotel.

BEWARE!! This hotel unfairly charged me a smoking fee that was pulled out of my account without my knowledge—neither I nor my wife smoke. I have been a customer of La Quinta for years, but after this experience, I will never stay at any of their properties again. I feel robbed and cheated out of my hard-earned money.
