Fabulous place
I’ve never stayed here before and I was so amazed. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays, the front desk personnel were so nice. We arrived earlier than expected and our room was ready, 3 hours early. Our room, a king premier was fabulous. It was so big compared to other hotels we’ve stay at in NOLA. The bathroom was nice, but the room over all was fantastic. We'll stay here again.

Property is old and rooms are dimly lit and tub was peeling. Service was decent however, overly priced restaurants. Compared to Intercontinental San Diego this hotel is underwhelming and so is the food.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel was clean with lots of amenities. I loved the Christmas display for the season, as well the room I stayed in. It was exactly what I wanted.

The valet began our trip by asking for a tip before parking our car. When we went to check in, the hotel tried to charge an extra $100 because the booking didn’t show the correct amount. The shower sounded like the pipes were going to explode, which also made the shower handle fall off of the wall. You had to set the water temp and then remove the handle until finished so it would fall on you. We were also lucky enough to find spoiled seafood in the mini fridge…stunk up the whole room for 30 minutes after discovering!

The property is gorgeous and in a historical district. We overall enjoyed our time at the hotel. However, our air conditioner went out the first day. We thought it was repaired but it did not work our entire stay. We paid entirely too much money to not have air conditioning. Also, we should not have to pay for the minibar. It’s New Orleans!

Even getting the larger square foot room we had a view of a parking garage, not desirable. This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel, there are definitely better options elsewhere in the city.
