It is a beautiful hotel; multiple levels with eateries and such. I was very disappointed with the room service; we ordered at 1115a and didnt teceive the lukewarm meal until 1240p. This is after calling a couple of times, being directed elsewhere but the dining services. At that point i was told that the delay was d/t them only having 1 server.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Rooms were very clean. French quarter is a short walk and street car stop is a few blocks from hotel entrance. Hotel could use some modern updates (TV did not work if it was cloudy or raining due to satellite, no usb outlets for charging devices, etc.). Overall it was a good stay.

At check in, i was forced to pay an amenity fee. 25.00 per day, despite it being near 10 pm. On the first night the wifi was down so i paid 25 for nothing. The 2 free bottles of water were the only amenities that were of any value to me, and they were werent 25 dollars. I wont be staying or recommending Hilton to anyone in the future if thats how they trwar their guests.

The check-in service is so slow, took around 30mins with 2 people ahead of me. They gave me the wrong room, I paid for a city view and I can’t see any city from my windows. They don’t explain the services properly, they charge a $25 USD resort package that includes the wifi, 2 bottles of water which I had to call them and get room service delivered it cause it ran out when we checked in, a $10 credit that can go charged to the room, and a laundry credit which we didn’t use. We stayed one night, checked out and walked through the outlet to the cruise terminal. The location is excellent but the room is not very good.

Hilton quality
Nice place to stay away from hustle and noise of French Quarter. Clean and quiet room with nice amenities. Will stay here next time I'm NOLA.
