Definitely happy with my stay!
This hostel is phenomenal! Everyone is so kind and the guests were super respectful. It was clean, comfortable and felt very safe (for self and belongings). It was quiet at night and I had no trouble sleeping, especially if you have earplugs in case your roommates come in later than you or get up early. The bathrooms could use a bit more cleaning, but it wasn't bad. Just bring flip flops!

Taylor Swift Girls Trip
Great stay for the Taylor Swift concert in NOLA. Check in clerk was a little abrasive but everyone else for the stay was delightful. Only issue we had was no ice available. We were told to go to the attached cafe for ice but we were charged . Otherwise, great visit and loved our queen suite with bunkbeds.

Trying very hard to be something it isn't...
Hotels.com limits the characters you can put in a review. So I'm going to paraphrase my google review: A stain on my birthday trip, Not sure how this place has such high reviews. Maybe I'm not their target audience. I reserved a private room. Woman at the front desk with glasses needs to find a new job. Hospitality isn't her strong suit as she is easily overwhelmed. Keeping a running tab of other things I ran into during my stay. Door system needs to be reworked. So many people were confused while coming and going Your alcohol is policed if you bring it in from bourbon st. Watched staff harass a woman over a closed beer. The stand that holds your luggage on your room is broken. Tacky decor. Plants growing in water bottles and board games nailed to the wall. Guests aren't allowed, even if they're your friends they WILL ask them for ID and if they're a local they will be kicked out. Bathroom fan is very loud/Bed is creaky. Hope your partner isn't a soft sleeper. Water machine only serves warm water. No ice machine in the building. Elevator is slow as molasses. Picture on the bedroom wall is Crooked. Not a big deal but seriously? Window has misleading labels on it. "Do not open the window but if you do don't do any of the things listed." Also not a big deal but what? Bathroom light is on a timer. So while you're showing it can (will) just cut off. Hope you don't trip and fall. Bathroom sink has a VERY slow drain. The Toothpaste from yesterday hasn't gone down
