Wouldn’t stay again
We chose a budget friendly option for a college move in week so buyer beware. The cottage is on a mostly quiet street, close to the airport so the planes are loud. no walkway to the door, just an uneven sloped yard with broken pavers starting halfway down to the door, hard for an elderly or disabled person to manage. It had dust everywhere, a dirty pan in the cupboard, fingerprints all over the fridge w leftover food inside. The bathroom had stains along the heater. Kitchen is minimally appointed and there were no oven safe pans to use. Also, melting butter on the stove will cause the fire alarms to go off, even on low heat, repeatedly. The a/c and the washer dryer worked well. The living room area has a tiny TINY loveseat barely big enough for two, that’s it for seating so you’re on a dining room chair to watch tv. We knew it was small but the photos weren’t an accurate depiction and furnishings were moved around to accentuate space that wasn’t there. Beds were comfortable and the coffee station was nice. My main issue is the power went off in the middle of the 5th morning. Breakfast was cooking so I thought maybe we blew a fuse. My electrician husband couldn’t get it back on so we called and emailed after neighbors said they had power. Quick response, the explanation was that due to an internal miscommunication, they thought we hadn’t paid and shut it off w no communication. It was prepaid in April. They remedied this quickly but really? Just skip it.
