Great location and terrace for viewing the balloons if you don’t want to walk up the hill to Sunrise Point. Generous, varied and good breakfast but it doesn’t start till 8:30am so you might miss out if you have a morning flight. Friendly staff. I stayed in the largest room, the so-called honeymoon suite, but the bed wasn’t very good, quite creaky, and the sheet was torn and poor quality. I had to ask twice to have it changed. Lovely restaurant next door - Pal’s Kitchen, highly recommend!

Great location, very beautiful property and really neat to stay in a carved out room. Breakfast was very good (a lot of food) that satifies either the meat eater or plant based diet. Very nice terrace/bar on the rooftop with great views. I will mention that our room does require some renovations (e.g. floor lighting popping out, tub/whirlpool encasement seperating from the tub) as things are starting to wear and break down. Attention to these items would have garnered a 5 star but otherwise a great experience.

Disappointing service
While beautiful, I would recommend you stay at another cave hotel due to service. The front desk offers hot air balloon bookings, two companies they recommend are Turkiye ballons and Kapadokya. I requested to be booked with one of the two because of their good reputation. Helen cave suites confirmed my booking multiple times but the day before the activity they said the booking was never actually made. They managed to get us another reservation that they said would be a little lower in price but then when it came time to pay they charged us the higher amount and said “nvm things changed” but no actual reason provided. We paid for an activity of the hot air balloon that came with breakfast, champagne toast and a flight certificate which I always like to keep during my travels as a token of memory. However we never received the flight certificate, the hotel front desk promised theyd get it to us before our leave but they completely ghosted us during the rest of our stay and even the messages we sent during and after. Also as we were jetlagged, we napped in our room when we arrived and they called us at least 3 times about their error on the hot air balloon. This was frustrating as we were trying to rest and were becoming upset they fumbled the reason we came to cappadocia. They clearly just want your money but dont value the service they provide.

The staff were so welcoming and polite. The hotel room we stayed in was beautiful and the terrace has a good view of the balloons and it is not far from another lookout with even better views. Their dogs lucky and chippa were also extremely friendly and made the hotel feel like home.

The views from the hotel is good. All staff are kind and the dog named Lucky is so friendly and she slept at our outside sofa in the first day! The hospitality is perfect and we were in good atmosphere for all day long.

Having real cave rooms is a very unique experience and was very fun. At the same time u must consider that the room only has 1 small window and when it is very hot, and you have no air con. it could be uncomfortable for people. The rooms are showing some wear, and they are in need of some maintenance and upgrading. The staff was extremely nice and helpful

Mixed Experience at Helen Cave, Cappadocia
We really wanted to give Helen Cave a high score, but there were several issues that affected our stay. Upon arrival, it took three hours for our room to be prepared. Unfortunately, our sink leaked water the entire time despite multiple attempts to "fix" it. We also found spiders in our room, and the maid service left much to be desired. Despite asking her three times, she never changed the sheets or took out the dirty dishes. The shower flow was okay, but the Wi-Fi was mediocre. However, the breakfast was great, and the service overall was awesome. We loved the easy access to food options and the central location of the hotel. The view from the rooftop was spectacular, and the on-site dog, Lucky, was adorable. Kemal was very helpful and made our stay more pleasant. Our biggest gripe was with the room itself. If room quality is important to you and you want to avoid mold on the ceiling, ensure your phones work, have fans or AC, and have an actual closet, you might want to consider a different hotel or opt for a much larger suite than the one we had. Helen Cave has some wonderful aspects, but the room issues were significant enough that they affected our overall experience.

The property was beautiful and unique. The staff were friendly and super accommodating, the breakfast was amazing and there was an adorable dog to watch over the place. Highly recommend for anyone.

Amazing Service
Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. Even our hotel shuttle driver told us how nice it was on the drive there. Pro tip for a hot shower is to turn the water on and let it run until it's steamy!
