Great Nerja Villa
This is a great property and offered pretty much everything we wanted and met our expectations. The communication from Jean was exceptional and gave us great pointers on car hire, places to go and much more. We were also fortunate to be allowed a late check out by Jean, which we were very grateful for, as we in effect had another day. The villa has a great combination of outside space with a large size pool, sun terrace looking towards the sea and two covered terraces for dining as well as a garden. The lager community pool is just across the road. The pools were chilly (as Jean warned us) but we used them every day.
The interior of the villa is spacious with three good sized bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathrooms are good too, with one on each floor. There were toys and games for the grandkids and Netflix on the tv and good Wi-Fi. The only slight disappointment was that some of the furnishing felt a little tired and dated.
The location is as described and a 25-minute walk to the main town. We walked down in the evenings and took a cab back. We drove to the beach and had no problems parking by the shops and bars nearby. Locally the bars weren’t open due the time of year, but we did visit the Cave Bar and the Sports Bar at the Hotel Nerja Club, which were ok.
Restaurants we can recommend are Number 34, Copa Vino in Nerja and La Poda in Frigiliana.
In Summary a great experience and thoroughly recommended.
