Perfect little getaway
My girlfriend and I just rented the Blue Jay cabin for a couple of quiet nights for her birthday. It was cute and came equipped with all the necessities. The hot tub was perfect after a long, cold day of hiking. Thank you!

Weekend away
The property is starting to show its age and lack of general upkeep. The hot tub was really looking bad and the mud running in from the driveway did not make it look very inviting, it definitely was a disappointment as we were looking forward to the hot tub. Generally, it was a great fit for my wife the dog and me

Pleasant Autumn vacation
We had a great stay, and came just in time for peak foliage. The hot tub worked very well, the house was clearly well-maintained, and the location was the cherry on top. Management was responsive and checking in/out was a breeze. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Not fancy, but just what you need.
We fit 6 sisters in the house for a weekend and it was just enough. Tiny kitchen, but with sufficient materials to cook all of the meals we wanted. Even has a blender for smoothies, though not listed as supplied. Couldnt find the kayak or conoe and wouldnt have been able to transport them to a river anyway. The ATV trail was not nice for hiking, but just short drives away are many gorgeous hikes

Intro to Hocking Hills
We had a great time. Liked the fact that our cabin was isolated but not! Mattress was horrible so bring something if you have back problems. Kitchen was fully equipped and really nice to work in. The grill has seen better days but did the job.

Weekend Getaway “Cabin” (Bluejay)
Honestly… it’s just very old and a bit run down… ceiling tiles coming out, cabinets wouldn’t stay closed (half didn’t even have knobs), the hot-tubs sides were destroyed (not sure how that happened but it made it leak water), and the beds were missing legs??? I sat on it and just sank (thank god there were a few beds) Even the garage was odd… they left a bunch of garbage in there. And the pictures aren’t accurate… it’s not that nice. Nice part - living room (very comfortable couches) Not worth the price in my opinion. I won’t be staying with this company/lodging place again.

Beautiful view
Comfortable beds, good water pressure, and the hot tub was wonderful - hot and so clean. Everything we needed was in the cabin including kitchenware and linens. It was quite clean on the inside of the cabin and there were televisions in all the bedrooms which was nice. The view from the front porch was lovely for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Check-in is at a separate location which is different from usual, but went smoothly.

Bit run down but had mostly everything we needed
The cabin was okay--the kitchen was well-stocked, the living room was comfortable, and the hot tub worked. However, it was in need of some TLC (ceiling tiles looked like they might cave in, paneling falling off hot tub, etc). The check-in process was a bit annoying (had to drive 15 min to a different location instead of having the key in a lockbox like most places), and putting the address in Google Maps took us to the wrong location (the written instructions got us to the right place). My biggest complaint was that we requested and were provided a travel bassinet, but it was so filthy/stained that I was not willing to put my baby in it. This ruined our first night somewhat as we had to co-sleep with him, and we ended up getting a Pack n Play from Walmart the next day. I'd strongly recommend bringing your own bassinet if needed.

We enjoyed our time away from home, but the house definitely needs some work, the beds need replaced, the chairs at table need replaced, and the hot tub cover is so waterlogged, it takes two men and boy to move. The place was clean, and we did enjoy the hot tub, once the cover was removed, and the fire pit.The house did have awesome water pressure in the shower. The home is in a nice area, and pretty quiet.

It was a darling cabin that had everything we needed. The only issue was with the toilet. It wouldn’t flush properly. Maintenance fixed it the second day of our stay, but then it malfunctioned again. We were granted a late check-out for 11am instead of 10am. The hot tub was our favorite part!

Disappointed in the hit tub
The only thing that upset us was, we couldn’t get in the hot tub because the heat wouldn’t come up to where it needed to be for us to get in it. The maintenance guy said it was dumped & refilled before we got there & it was taking forever for the temp to raise

Exterior could use some TLC
My family liked staying here for a short New Year's trip. However, my first impression upon pulling up was not the best. The hot tub cover was falling apart, which made me think the inside would be in rough shape, too. Luckily, the inside was cute and some nice Christmas decorations were still out. My only suggestion would be to get a new hot tub cover to improve the "curb appeal" of this house. The kitchen is nicely stocked with many common cooking utensils and pans. The only thing I needed that I could not find was a whisk. During the check-in process, I would tell guests not to use Google Maps since the geo-location is not correct. Instead, direct them to navigate to Company Rd. since the driveway for the house is right before it.
