Only a stone's throw from the bustling Nelson Bay Marina, charters and cruises, the region's best beaches, walking trails, shops, restaurants, entertainment and activities, Harbour View Penthouse is perfect for families looking to take advantage of all Port Stephens has to offer.

The property is beautifully furnished, and the modern kitchen will impress with stainless steel appliances and coffee pod machine (pods not supplied). The dining room flows onto the balcony with water views and an outdoor setting. Adjacent to the balcony, the lounge room offers substantial living space, complete with large screen smart TV and DVD player. The property also comes with free, high-speed Wi-Fi

The spacious master bedroom has a queen bed and you will be spoiled with a lovely outlook through floor to ceiling windows, a flat screen TV, WIR and beautifully appointed ensuite. Relax and unwind after a day of fun and adventure in the main bathroom spa bath. The second and third bedrooms also feature high quality queen beds while a sofa lounge offers additional bedding for guests when required at additional cost.

Harbour View Penthouse has a refundable bond of $1000 that is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refundable 3-5 days from your departure date.

Additional costs when booking:
Sofa bed (children only) $100 per booking which includes towels and linen hire.
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

What a let down!
This unit was in good location. But that is it! The unit was dirty. Bathrooms were full of mould . The ceiling in main bathroom was covered in mould. The shower leaked into hall way & wet the carpet.there was no remote for TV in the main bedroom. No blind in the ensuite & still hair on the floor in the shower & near the toilet from previous users. The second bedroom blind was broken. The sliding doors wouldn’t lock. They were broken. The spa area was filthy. Rubbish & mould everywhere . Lounging & cushions were dirty. Then to top it off we had to strip the beds before we left. . Never in all my travels had we had to do this p, especially after paying a service cleaning fee. My advice is to steer clear of this place. Plenty of other options nicer, cleaner & better pricing. The owners of this property need to step up & fix these issues & give this unit some TLC ! I’d like to add photos to this review, but no option!

Great Location and views , clean and well maintained home. Jacuzzi was great and clean but chlorine levels were excessive and dangerous. Kitchen, dining and balcony were nice and comfortable , could have done with extra bathroom. Overall very pleasant experience and close to shops and marina

Top spot
A delightful break from Sydney with family and friends. The location was fantastic, close to restaurants and local attractions. The rooftop spa was well utilised. The views were fabulous.

The outdoor are was quite dirty. There was a chipped coffee cup in cupboard. The carpet needs a good wash. There was not enough toilet paper supplied for 8 people. We had less than full rolls in bathrooms and only one spare. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were all but empty. The cover over spa filter came off when the spa was turned on.

Great spot, massive apartment, loved it!
Thourougjly enjoyed our stay. Short stroll to shop or grab a bite to eat….went on adventures most days then home to relax in the spa…..so much room in the apartment, there were 6 of us for a few days and it accommodates quite comfortably!

Location was very good. Access very good (elevator) Parking quite good except when others illegally parked underneath. Cleaning needed attention: balcony, under the lounge, in the room corners, blowfly on the windows, outside front entrance to the building was disgusting, blind louvres needed dusting, underneath the microwave dirty, various marks on the walls and carpet. Maintenance needed: most blind slats could not be tilted (broken), Microwave oven frame loose, fridge light not working, bathroom vanity lights not working, most staircase lights not working, walk-in wardrobe light flickering, kitchen bench light cover missing. Missing: salt (lots of pepper!) Required: scissors, a decent water jug, a clock.

Perfect for a family stay
Booking was a breeze, access was straight forward, property is in a very convenient location to mariner and main shops strip, lift to top floor was very convenient especially with 3 little ones, and front door to apartment is literally right in front of the lift doors. Views from main balcony and from terrace on top floor looking out are too good. Highly recommend for family stays

Issues with Harbour View penthouse Apartment 10
Hello – our names are Frank and Tina Bondolfi and we would like to address some details of our holiday rental These are the relevant details: Dates of rental - Sat 24th September – Sunday 2nd October Harbour View Penthouse Apartment 10 Floor 3 15 Government Road Nelson Bay Rental No 740 7025 Reservation ID RES – 06430 STAYZ We had issues with the following • General cleanliness of apartment was of poor quality - areas around door handles and light fittings were dirty - bedside tables were dusty, as was ledge under main dining table - a large cobweb on ceiling cornice above TV - cockroach baits? visible beside refrigerator - bathtub was dirty and we cleaned it before use - laundry – area behind door and around washing machine build up of grime - build up of leaf litter and sludge under patio planters and around corner drain - most horizontal blinds very dusty/and or dirty - window ledges very dirty and/or dusty • Furniture and other resources broken or tattered - Outdoor (dark) chairs on main balcony -webbing broken and loose - Dining chair – rattan webbing has a large hole - Pots and pans – battered and no longer non stick - Blinds – many with broken rods – unable to set to privacy or horizontal open settings - Dining room sliding door – rubber has come loose - Light fitting above jug – wires dangling down - Main bedroom floor lamp – light bulb broken and has sharp splintered edges - Rooftop day beds in poor condition - Lounge furniture – couch facing TV – underneath black webbing/cover has deteriorated and is dangling down - Shower screen in main bathroom is cracked and shard is exposed and will soon shatter/break off - Two lights above main bathroom mirror not working - Two lights above ensuite mirror not working - Drinking glass – had large crack – we had to throw it out - Outdoor mats worn and tattered – need replacing • General cleanliness and health/sanitation issues - Ceiling of ensuite bathroom covered in spotting of black mould • Rooftop area - Build up of leaflitter and black sludge in most corners (especially in front of spa) – up to 75 ml thick. We spent ¾ hour hosing, brushing and sweeping this area. Every drainage point was filled with debris and sludge and needed to be cleared. - Spa - Cover that goes over the filter – clips are broken and it then floats into water area - Many jets in spa are not working - Hose – nozzle fitting is broken and not able to be re attached THERE IS MORE BUT IT WONT FIT INTO THIS BOX

We had a wonderful stay. Apartment was clean, jacuzzi warm on arrival. Great outdoor rooftop area, though only one light worked so not able to use after dark. Also the blinds in most rooms where broken so unable to close/open. Property was in a great location.

Absolute bliss, everything was easy to book. And the Bay Butler delivered amazing food to my door so I could enjoy my time and be completely relaxed without even leaving the penthouse. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

Relaxation overload
This property was located in an ideal location, close to walks, shops and ocean. It was comfortable and the views from the roof top deck were just breathtaking. The property is in need of a little maintenance. There was a tile off in the main bathroom, the blinds had a lot of the mechanics missing or broken off. could use a clothes airer or line to hang towels, swimmers etc and in need of more cutlery and some small plates. This did not detract from our overall experience though. We just thought you would like to know.

Excellent location but needs maintenance
Excellent location close to the shops and only a short stroll to the Marina. Comfortable accomodation and very spacious. The property does however need maintenance (ceiling leaks, broken sliding door) and should provide more kitchen essentials (baking trays, bottle opener, sharp knife, microwaveable containers and better tongs). The BBQ should be located on the balcony rather than top level where the spa is hence why we never used it whilst there. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, large well appointed apartment
Previous reviews seemed a bit negative but we found the property overall great. Spa worked and was very clean, bbq good, large sized rooms, 2 good bathrooms, plenty of kitchen ware and all very clean. There are a few small curtain rods not working but nothing substantial. Location is perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Considering the place costs 1000 dollars and I was also charged a fee for cleaning I was highly disappointed with the cleanliness of the entire place as I woke up with a white strand of hair in my mouth and felt sick to my stomach ! After discovering that my entire stay I was on edge and was convinced that the bedding weren’t even cleaned properly The room did not smell fresh when we walked in.. I’m so convinced at this point that you charge a fee just for the sake of it without cleaning the house !!!

While the location, view and general layout of property was great, we were very disappointed how run down it was. Stains all over the carpet, broken table, outdoor area upstairs filthy, BBQ hadn’t been cleaned in ages with drip tray full of old fat etc. The roof leaked although we were informed of this as it’s waiting for repairs. Paying premium $$$ for this penthouse unit would of expected a lot more.

Nice location but poor experience with property managers. Would not recommend
Overall, would not recommend due to lack of communication and poor customer relations. Negatives: The main bathroom shower would flood the floor after each use. It would take all night to dry up. It was also missing some tiles. The blinds in 2 bedrooms didn’t close properly and the twist would not work so had to manually close. Half of the spa was broken and the water jets didn’t work. An old table was left upstairs in the sitting area which was a bit of an eye sore. After we left, we received an email claiming we had damaged the BBQ cover and they wouldn’t release the bond until they had sorted out a replacement. We requested photo evidence with a time stamp as we had no memory of damaging the BBQ cover. I sent countless emails and made phone calls and never had a response on what was happening. Finally, after 3 weeks of no communication, they sent 1 poor photo with no time stamp and the invoice to pay for it. They took the money and returned the rest of our bond without even giving us a chance to respond or calling us to discuss. We’ve not fought back on the issue, but hope no one else has a problem like this! It was a real shame to end the holiday this way. Hope no body else has this drama. Would not recommend this place for this reason. Positives: The place was nice and open plan. The upstairs sitting and spa area was a great addition with really nice views! The kitchen was well stocked. The location was really great and close to everything. Could easily walk to the shops and to the marina

A very clean and well equiped flat. A good location, close to the shops and Marina. Walking distance to cafe's, restaurants, hotel, fishing and nice walks. A lovely few days away. The only negative is that it's on a busy road.

Good location, property needs TLC
Property is tired, and needs some TLC. Items that need attention: - dishwasher glasses tray is loose and drops out - clock on the wall has no hands (!) - noughts & crosses game on the coffee table is missing a piece - pedestal fan is broken (missing a blade) - Stains on couch and carpets - only 2 seat cushions for the dining table - broken pot plant on rooftop terrace - owl on rooftop terrace is missing its head - outdoor areas had not been cleaned - multiple dead plants on both terraces - rooftop table falling apart - showers in both bathrooms run all over the bathroom floor On the plus side, interior was clean, location is great, and Shane was excellent for check-in.
