The Shoalbar-walk to 2 Beaches

As this is a house and not a unit, you will have your own private space and no stairs to climb! All beds are made and bath towels provided. You can walk in and everything is ready for you to just sit down and relax or head straight to the beach. You don't need to worry about checkin times or keys with key-less self check-in. You will be cool in Summer and warm in Winter with ducted air-conditioning in each room.

Entertain yourself in the evening with a Samsung smart TV, Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime, Stan (own login required) and unlimited fast WiFi.

Outside there is plenty of space for your pets and toddlers to roam around with a pet friendly fully enclosed gated space where you can cook up a storm on the 3 burner gas BBQ.

Pack light as there is a washing machine, dryer and iron with a fixed clothes line and portable clothes hanger to catch the afternoon sun. There are parking spaces for 2 cars on site and additional free street parking. Need groceries? Simply have them delivered to your front door whilst you are out and about.

There is a king bed and smart TV in the main bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and single bed available. The living room has a single bed.

The property is pet friendly, pets can be inside and sleep inside except pets are not allowed on the beds unless you bring your own bed linen. The yard is fully enclosed and includes a grass lawn. If you wish to bring more than 2 pets please enquire before making a booking.

Great location! Comfortable!
The holiday house, bedding and towels were all clean. Annie had lots of little touches everywhere to make the stay more comfortable. There was tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt, board games, torch etc. There was enough cutlery, crockery and cookware for us to use. Annie communicated with me regularly and was easy to deal with. Highly recommend this holiday home! I will definitely be staying again. 😁

We had a lovely stay at this property and were able to bring our fur babies - Mum's aging Tenterfield terrier and my Chihuahua. The weather wasn't good but we were able to snuggle comfy on the lounge and watch some 'girlie' movies. The attention to detail was very apparent with comprehensive pantry items; beach equipment; shower products; ducted air-con and wifi. I was able to make a beautiful roast lamb meal the first night and a continental breakfast the following morning. The host kept in communications with me and I felt we were looked after.

Perfect property for us..... Grandparents, two teenage granddaughters and family pet, 2 year old toy poodle. Secure, pretty garden with grassed area, and paved, covered outdoor area with seating. Generous living space. Well sized bedrooms and bathrooms, with good storage. Property well appointed and scrupulously clean. Easy walk to beaches... Within close reach to either Nelson Bay town centre or Shoal Bay beach and shops. Fulfilled our expectations and more....

Perfect Holiday House
The Shoalbar is a perfectly located and perfect sized holiday house with a small yard that our dog could also enjoy time outside. Just a short walk to 2 x beaches and also walking distance to the shops, etc, at Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay. The house itself was beautifully presented with modern décor, and really well maintained, with many handy pantry items also provided. THANK YOU - We will definitely be coming back

Easter Getaway
We loved our stay at Shoal Bay, and so did our Labrador. The unit was in a great location. We could ride our bikes easily around the area. Walking into Shoal Bay was also an easy stroll. The property had everything we needed and more. The garage was a perfect spot to store our push bikes, and for the dog to sleep. Loved everting about it.
