Although we enjoyed our stay, we could not figure out the shower as it had two shower heads, but only one functional and little to no hot water. Just when you adjust to get lukewarm water, it would become cold seconds later. Unlike the sink where we had hot water constantly. Also, the parking lot was below the hotel and you had to climb two flights of stairs. Although I have a bad hip and am a disabled Vet, there was no way to get to the lobby without climbing stairs. Unless you walked around to the building to the front which was about a few hundred yards. Would we stay there again, probably yes as we liked the convenience of being close to the downtown area. However, we’ll make sure the shower works first before settling in for the night. Lol

The room was large, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was delicious! Parking was close and convenient to shopping. I would stay at this location again.

Very nice. They accommodated our late arrival. Both times when went to the front desk, no one was there and i had to wait. The breakfast was good and my husband loved the shower. Kind of expensive for one night, but will stay again.

I enjoyed the stay, I always do. I would suggest reading the notes people place in the comments. I requested a first floor room due to health issues and was placed on a higher floor. We explained and the young lady kindly switched us to a first floor room, and we were grateful for her kindness. I also had to go to the front desk to get face towels because there wasn't enough in the room for 2 people. Minor things I can live with, and I will always be a repeat customer when I visit the area.

We specifically asked for a room with a bathtub but did not get one. The front staff did not provide us with times for breakfast or the WiFi password. The shower and the floors in the room were filthy.

I probably would have given it five stars but the main reason I booked it was because of the on site lounge but it was closed as was a good share of downtown that was walking distance. I guess that’s the price you pay for staying on Labor Day.

Needs some improvement.
Hotel security needs to be enhanced greatly. Customer service training needs to be given although everyone was very nice, they just didn’t understand how to best serve the customer. The property was clean and fairly well maintained but hotel ingress and egress needs to be more secure and monitored.

I didn't like that there was only plastic cups in the room which, from previous experience, would have melted if I'd tried to make coffee in it. It also appeared as if the room hadn't been throughly cleaned as there was something sticky all over the nightstand I had to clean. The courtyard could have jasmine, bougainvillea and gardinias to capture that new Orleans feel you're trying to accomplish. Great addition to the City and opportunity to be in the heart of Natchitoches!

I stayed here with my baby. He somehow unplugged the A/C while i wasn't looking. Maintenance came right away and helped us. Everyone was very polite. Breakfast was great. Very good grits. We will definitely come back
