The neach area and water is decent and its a short walk to the downtown area if thats where you would like to be. The staff by the pool was good but the check in staff was not the bwst and not very accomodating.

Okay, but pricy.
The hotel lobby is beautiful, the cost to stay was insanely expensive. Our room smelled like fish. And the staff were mostly kind, but also exhausted due to Junkanoo. We really struggled to get good communication from the staff at some points.

The facility is very nice, but we only had our room serviced 3x out of a 8 night stay. The worst part is all the hidden fees this hotel has. Initially the price Expedia showed was before the trip they deduct from my bank account. That’s fine but didn’t let me know. At the time of check out. I thought my balance was going to be half of that But I got slapped with a $3,770.00 check out fee afterwards. When they applied they took it came out to Very upset about this for those additional hidden fees.

The staff was nice and property clean. Gym was also nice. Restaurants close early. The bigger disappointment was that the beach was very small 50 yards and you could not walk on a different beach. Also the view was obstructed by 3-4 cruises always there during the day and some remote consteuction

Late arrival with a smooth check in only to open my room door and be greeted by a smelly room without teacups or no towels in the bathroom, I was immediately disappointed. My disappointment was further compounded by the fact that the wait time was excessive for these items that I should not have had to request. For this reason, I would not recommend this resort. The buffet breakfast was a no for me and there is a restaurant across the street from the property to the left that was a better option. The bed was comfortable and the location was great though. Demetre and the bell men were kind. And that was it. Lots of potential and room for improvement. I would love to consult with this property in that regard.

Although this is a 100 year old property, it’s still such a beautiful place. The only thing I would upgrade would be the mattresses and toilets bc I felt like I was in kindergarten. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and definitely would come back.

Erroneous charges to my credit card. I was charged for a breakfast buffet for two that I never had. They never pick up the phone even when calling during my stay. I have been waiting for days for a response to my email regarding the charges and have yet to get a response after reaching out multiple times. I have been calling for days and can not get anyone outside of reservations. Reservations claimed they’re picking up from another country and couldn’t help.

We wanted to chill and not leave the property much. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and newly remodeled. Private pool and beach were exceptional. Outdoor staff very attentive and the few times we left for dinner, good food was only a block or two away. Not much shopping in walking distance but that was not on our list this trip.

Unfortunately staff at the front desk and waiter at the restaurant are not really friendly, my room wasn’t cleaned when we got it. However Jen executive manager did send an apology and a token for the trouble, she Definitely did the extra effort in paying attention to details. The hotel overall is really quiet and nice, very convenient location. A bit more attentiveness to service would have made a greater experience.
