Because of the tiles on the shower floor, it was difficult to say if it was cleaned or not however upon opening the door to the shower there was a fowl odor coming out…I had to wear something on my feet to go in otherwise everything else was good

The view in the Prime Minister suite was amazing. The staff in front desk, F&B and housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the room and linens were good. Location is perfect for walking to food and shopping. Would recommend this hotel!

**Review of the British Colonial Resort** I recently stayed at the British Colonial Resort, and I have to say it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was subpar; the staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to our needs, which was frustrating. Our room had a broken shower head, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. This was just one of the many maintenance issues we encountered during our stay. To add to the disappointment, everything felt overpriced, and we were consistently overcharged for services and amenities that didn’t meet expectations. The dining experience was particularly disheartening. The food was bland and unseasoned, and I was shocked to find dirt in the salad, which clearly hadn’t been washed properly. It was unacceptable for a resort that claims to offer quality dining options. Overall, I cannot recommend the British Colonial Resort. Between the poor service, maintenance issues, overpriced offerings, and unsatisfactory food, it left a lot to be desired. I would suggest looking for other accommodations that prioritize guest satisfaction.

Newly renovated, nice downtown hotel
The hotel just opened in Dec 2023 after a complete renovation so everything is clean and new. Lots of lounge chairs at the pool and beach which were never overly crowded, but the beach is small. Cruise ship port is next to the property so ships come and go every morning and late afternoon/early evening, but you can’t hear them. Overall great stay with friendly attentive staff.

The property is beautiful frm the front door to your room to the small pool and beach in the back. Beach looks almost right at the cruise ships butnifnyou look strqight and to the left it is veautiful. Bery small area formwatersports bit perfect for families with small kids. the bed and pillows were super comfrortable, and the shower was divine only disappointment was a surprise $35 resort fee which was not disclosed, or i missed during my expedia booking.

This used to be a beautiful property now despite the makeover and the unfortunate facelift using aluminum and glass and lots of plastic instead of more traditional materials has left the entire property looking like a Holiday Inn Express. Although the rooms do post a refrigerator and coffee maker there is no microwave. The bathrooms are awkward especially the shower I cannot even imagine how a person over 200 pounds should be able to squeeze in and out of that shower with its inner opening door. The front desk is always understaffed and the employees not very helpful nor knowledgeable. Every morning the formerly lovely Garden area was overrun by rats and the towels and glasses were everywhere nobody seemed to want to clean it up early enough.
